The American DJ Encore Burst RGBW IP Outdoor Strobe Lightis an outdoor-rated (IP65) 150W LED wash, blinder/strobe that's designed to deliver high-intensity red, green, blue and white light with flicker-free operation for system installers, lighting designers, and technicians working in stage, television, and film production, and for use in concerts, festivals, and other outdoor applications. The fixture utilizes a single 150W Cree COB RGBW LED to produce a 50° beam angle.

Control capabilities include DMX modes, selectable dimming curves, and strobe effects. A four-button OLED menu system offers direct access, and 5-pin IP65-rated DMX jacks provide remote control. Multiple fixtures can be daisy-chained using the powerCON TRUE1 IP65 in/out. The Encore Burst RGBW IP is constructed with rugged metal housing, features an integrated scissor yoke, and ships with an Omega Bracket and a Seetronic power cord.

Q: 1. Can this remote work with Mr. Kool II los lying fog machine and with the Entourage?

A: This is not compatible with the fog machine.

A: The W/A button would allow you to control the white or amber setting found on some American DJ LED fixtures. After pressing this button, you can adjust the brightness of the light using the plus or minus buttons.

Q: 3. Will this work on a 240V AC socket?

A: The label on the unit shows input to be 120vac, not 120/240vac.

Q: 4. Can this light be mounted on a light stand/C-stand anyway or must it be hung off grid? Thanks

A: You can use the American DJ Encore FR50Z 50W LED Fresnel on a light stand/C-stand directly. It cannot attach to a C-stand arm, and you will need an adapter like B&H # IMCA116P (https://bhpho.to/3YSHKOg).

Q: 5. Is there a way to turn on sound active mode when in DMX mode?

A: Sound activation mode is only adjustable on unit itself.

Q: 6. When using several of these can I sync them? For example, if I place units on the same DMX channel, set the speed to 4 flashes per second and then enable them by setting the intensity from 0 to my desired level will they begin flashing at the same time and maintain synchronization? Alternatively, can I control individual flashes by setting a slow flash rate and then retrigger by setting intensity to zero and then back to get a "flash on demand"?

A: According to the manufacturer when on a control board they will sync and act as one unit.

Q: 7. Our ceiling height is Aprox. 30' from stage, would this unit work.

A: Yes the Encore FR150Z can work when placed 30 feet from the stage.

Q: 8. If you put it on a mode and kill the power, will it start up on the previous mode? Example: I just want spinning red lights all

Q: 9. Can this fade to black slowly? I know it has a blackout function, but I want a slow fade in/out for theatre productions.

[Cable Loop] I bought two of these. They have a lot of nice features and are easily set up. I got one hung and it worked perfectly, although for our stage it was a pretty wide wash. We may put barn doors on it. We have about a 24’ throw from that position. For the other light, we accidentally put it through an abuse test. It got dropped from a 12’ height onto a concrete floor. The lens broke into several pieces and a two inch chunk of the metal case broke off. Amazingly enough, we put in the second lens and it worked fine. No LED or circuitry failure. Very tough little light. We are going to use it until it chooses to fail. 5

[11.055 lb] Great strobe. Extremely bright. Adjustment knob makes it easy to control the speed of the light. I'm using these as a deterrent to rodents in my motorhome and store building 5

[50°] Plastic housing, and very simple, but do you need a small strobe for close ups, music videos, etc. Buy this and keep it in a catch-all, and have it ready if ever needed. 5

[Cable Loop] Very strong strobe for a very good price. It shines brightly in small and medium-sized�rooms and has good and simple controls for speed and brightness (although the brightness doesn't�have much of an effect). Better controls for speed and brightness would be a good addition. 5
