The American DJ Focus Beam LED 80W Moving Head Lightis a professional-caliber moving head LED beam fixture designed for lighting installations and live performance applications in clubs, theaters, and concert productions. It features an 80W LED light source (rated at 50,000 hours), 630° pan, 270° tilt, 16-bit movement resolution, and motorized focus.

The color wheel has 13 dichroic colors and white, and the metal gobo wheel features 15 static gobos plus open and shake effects. Two prism wheels include rotatable 8-facet circular and 6-facet linear prisms with indexing and overlay features. Also included are six selectable dimming curves (standard, stage, TV, architectural, theater, and stage 2). Additional features include adjustable gamma settings, an adjustable LED refresh rate, and a linear frost filter for wash effects.

For controls, the unit works with RDM and DMX protocols with two DMX channel modes (16 and 18 channels). The 3-pin XLR DMX input and output connectors and Seetronic locking power input and output connectors allow for daisy chaining multiple units to create complex lighting installations. The onboard function display with 5 touch buttons makes it easy to dial in custom settings. The American DJ Focus Beam LED ships with two Omega brackets and a Seetronic locking power cord.

A: You can use the American DJ Encore FR50Z 50W LED Fresnel on a light stand/C-stand directly. It cannot attach to a C-stand arm, and you will need an adapter like B&H # IMCA116P (https://bhpho.to/3YSHKOg).

Q: 9. Does the fixture have powercon input? I saw a youtube video of the fixture with a powercon input on it but the photo in the listing does not.

A: As per the user manual, this fixture uses an IEC connection rather than a PowerCon connection.

A: Yes the Encore FR150Z can work when placed 30 feet from the stage.

[136 W at 120 V] I purchased four of these units and am happy with them so far. Theyre compact, powerful, and easy to install. If youre looking for a nice, sharp circle, youll want to install the 12 degree lens that comes with the unit, as the 6 degree lens that comes pre-installed doesnt give you that crisp edge. But this is a very functional and affordable instrument and looks great with haze. 5

[27 lb / 12.3 kg] We bought 6 Spot 260s and for the $$, we definitely got a great product. These lights are everything they are said to be. Bright, On Point Colors, Speed, Responsiveness, etc. I would definitely recommend these to any small Venue wanting some great lights. 5

Kindly check if the bulb is connected properly as mine was shipped disconnected, presumably for safety purposes. 5
