[1.3 oz / 36 g] I took a leap of faith when buying this, because there was necessary information missing from the product description. Yes, there is internal electronics to step down the voltage, and it is located inside the dummy battery. (My meter reads 16.3 volts on the input and 8.5 volts on the output, which is fine.) The cable is straight, about 36 inches long. It works fine on my GH4. The camera has a little rubber slot made to allow the cable to pass through. 5
