A: Yes, you can remove the extension on the Syrp Magic Carpet PRO Short Track.

Q: 2. Can it be used in Europe where the power is 220 volts 50 Hz if all the items plugged into it are dual voltage? Will the surge protection still work correctly?

A: This unit is not multivoltage. You will need a step down converter if you use this on a voltage higher than 125v.

Q: 3. Does this include the carry bag for the track?

A: The Magic carpet tracks include the bag as well.

Q: 4. Will this work with the magic carpet (non pro) carriage and end caps?

A: The Syrp Magic Carpet PRO Short Track (2') is not listed as compatible with the Syrp Magic Carpet Carriage and End Caps.

Q: 5. Hi Can we use Syrp End Cap and carriage on any type of Slider or it is compatible only with magic carpet..?

A: This is only compatible with Syrp Magic Carpet Tracks. It will not work with other brands of sliders.

Q: 7. Are there some types of carpet this cable protector will not stick to?

A: SAFCORD does not work on cut pile carpet. SAFCORD is the only commercial grade non-adhesive, reusable cable cover that can secure cords to looped carpet.

Q: 8. Does the Q2 protector case have a bottom that opens to access the battery and/or memory card, or is one sealed bottom on the case?

A: No. There is no access on the bottom of the case for either the battery or SD card. You have to remove the case to access these two areas. The bottom is solid leather with the thumbscrew in the middle to secure it to the tripod socket on the bottom of the camera.

Q: 9. Can I plug this into a 220 Volt outlet?

A: Definitely not. The surge protector is only rated for 110 and plugging it in to a 220 outlet will kill it.

Q: 10. Would it be possible to combine two or more of these tracks to make one long continuous track run?

A: In theory, sure. Out-of-the-box, these are designed to be used singly. But you could probably rig it up as a long length of multiple units. You would need to provide your own joinery. And stability of the rail itself would be an issue. The long rail is exceptionally sturdy and does not bend or bow. But adding a joint could create problems.
