Q: 1. What is the difference between the versatile ND and polarizing filter kit and the circular polarizer filter? This set has both.

A: The versatile ND consists of 4 types of ND filters which are listed in the description: Soft-Edge Graduated ND 0.6 FilterHard-Edge Graduated ND 0.6 FilterHard-Edge Graduated ND 0.9 FilterBig Stopper ND 3.0 FilterThese filter can be used to adjust the scene lighting, e.g. darken a bright sky (the graduated ND filters) or simply allow for a darkening of the whole scene (big stopper ND) for when one like to set a longer exposure time with the same lens aperture. Up to two of these filters can be used in the holder at the same time, so one can create versatile filtering effects. The Circular Polarizer filter is a separate entity and attaches to the outer side of the filter holder and therefore can be used alone with no ND filters present or with any combination of two of the ND filters. The polarizer may be used to control (reduce or enhance) reflections off surfaces (e.g. water, glass) or to control reflection in the sky allowing one to brighten or darken the sky. This kit is very versatile and I have not yet needed to buy any additional filters get the lighting effects I have wanted. In my view there is one short coming of this system: light can come in between the each of filters and the filters and the lens when one is facing the light source (e.g. the sun), this can introduce some strange (and undesired) lighting effects. Though this short coming can be managed if the light is blocked from entering the spaces between the filters. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and functionality of this kit.

Q: 2. Hello, is the seven5 suitable for DSLR full frame camera such as Nikon D750 ?

A: The maximum size filter thread it can accommodate is 72mm. As long as the lenses you work with are 72mm and smaller you will be fine. In the event you want to filter larger lenses you would need to consider an alternate system.

Q: 3. Will this fit a Nikon 24-70 2.8 lens?

A: Yes, it will fit.

Q: 4. Is the padding inside the same as what is in the case that comes with the big stopper?

A: Yes it is.

Q: 5. The product foto and specs make clear that the kit includes lenses and a holder, but no protective cases or storage pouches for protection or transport. A customer foto submitted in the reviews shows protective cases and pouches. Im confused. Does the kit come with protective cases or do I buy these separately?

A: My kit came with a soft blue cloth cover that fits all the filters and folds. Easy to put in camera bag or pocket or whatever. The polarizer did come with a padded case. I did buy an extra filter carrier from B+ W for extra protection. If you are concerned I would buy an extra case. Perhaps call up and see what B H recommends.

Q: 6. Will this kit vignette on a Leica M with 21mm lens?

A: I purchased the Seven5 Deluxe Kit earlier this year for use with my Fuji X100T and it works great... I have a Leica MP (film) with no way to preview, so I didn't consider the filter system for that kit.Measurements: the depth of the adapter and filter holder is the same as a standard (not slim) filter - 5 mm (7.5 mm including the threads). The filter holder has space for two filters but it looks like you can remove one of the holders to make the overall depth smaller. The space between the filter holder inside edge is 66.9 mm at a height of 13 mm from the lens (15.5 mm if you include the threads).Sorry I could not be of more help... have fun if you go in that direction...

Q: 7. I just purchased a Fuji XT-2 from B&H. Should I go with the 100mm or the Seven5 system. I shoot mostly landscapes. Will I get vignetting using a wide angle lens if I stack a little stopper and a polarizer?

A: I am using the Seven5 system with the Fuji x100t, but that has a fixed 23mm lens. The xt2 can accommodate many different lenses, but the Seven5 should be fine. The 100mm system would be more suitable for wide angle and and ultra wides on a full frame dslr. Check with Lee directly for more details, their customer service is excellent.

Q: 8. Will this fit on a Sigma 20mm Art lens for Nikon?

A: I'm sorry, no, the lens has no filter threads. You will need to get a filter system specifically for this lens. Click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/38uBbFp

Q: 9. Can the Seven5 system be used on a Canon 60D with a EFS 10-18mm lens? I know that there are suitable adapter rings, but I am wondering if there will be a vignetting effect, or if the crop factor of the camera will eliminate it.

A: The Seven5 kit can be used with the 10-18mm lens via the 67mm lens adapter. However, even with the 1.6x crop factor there is likely going to be some vignetting at the wider end of the lens. This effect would be diminished when using the LEE foundation kit with the 67mm wide angle specific lens adapter instead of the Seven5 kit.

Q: 10. Does it comes in pairs?

A: Correct. This is a pair of replacement fasteners.

[0.23 lb] This filter provides excellent diffusion with reasonably low light loss. Place the 24 x 24 sheet between your subject and a single light bulb, the light will spread out in a fairly uniform manner across the whole 24 x 24 sheet. The sheet is about as rigid as two sheets of ordinary printer paper.
