[Sealed] I have these speakers, coupled to 800's surrounds, a pro center 2000 center, and a super cube subwoofer. These speakers, as my reveiw of the center says, are truly rock solid, with zero discernible distortion. You would have to raise the volume to ludicrous levels in order to make these things tremble. They are very musical, and reproduce notes with great realism and ease. I would seriously suggest pairing them to a super cube subwoofer, which is a thing of beauty itself. There is a scene in one of the Spiderman films where "Doc Oc" initiates a fusion, and the sound, which was at reasonable mid volume, literally made me jump, really conveyed the power of the reaction. Love these monitors, make sure you couple them to a quality receiver, using higher gauge speaker wire.

[10 to 200 W] I replaced my old Cambridge Soundworks bi/dipolar speakers that were just not doing it for me. Old and tired. These speakers are wonderful. I was waffling between the 800 & 1000s, glad I opted for the larger speaker. I highly recommend these. They look great on my sturdy Sanus EFSat speaker stands.

[2-Way] A speaker that is all of 8" x 4" and still makes for great, non-tiring music listening sessions is a wonderful thing. I am using these in a 2.1 with a Harman Kardon receiver and a Martin Logan sub and even movies sound great. And this is while I am still working on figuring out the best crossover from the sub to the satellites.

[2-Way] This is now the 3rd pair of these speakers I own after expanding my collection twice. Simply put, the size and sonic performance of these satellites is solid and very hard to beat. I have coupled these in one of our media rooms with a pair of SVS PB 1000 Pro subs and couldn't be happier. The satellites are easy to place and blend nicely with the SVS subs which I also love. I am hooked on Definitive for value and performance.

[91 dB] If I could rate 6/5 stars, I would. Been using my old Polk RT35 speakers for 20 years and been happy. I wanted something that could be wall mounted, so I ended up doing some looking. Glad I did. These speakers have so much more definition and life, it’s incredible. My old ones were decent. These are amazing. I’m sure there are better speakers for 5 times as much, but I doubt there’s any better for 2 or 3 times the price of these. All I want to do now is listen to music on these bad boys.

[91 dB] Love these speakers! For the size they produce a very full sound, the bass radiator really makes the difference in my view. Very well made too. I'm using them for satellites in my home theater and they work great for movies and music. Can't say enough good things about them!

[2-Way] I moved to a new home and had to get rid of my tower speakers. Thinking it would be a major let down to be forced to get satellite speakers. I could not of been more wrong. These speakers are amazing! Setting up proper speaker settings and frequency settings are key. I have a 5.1 system with the 1000 as main and center with 800 for the rear. The ability to turn my receiver up max and hear no distortion is mind blowing. I have a very good subwoofer and blends these speakers flawless. The highs and mids are nothing but top notch. Price was a big issue until my ears were finally 100% satisfied with movies and music. I even have my girlfriend wanting to play music all the time. When I asked her how come she didn’t like loud music or movies before. She simply replied I have never heard quality like this.
