[Neoprene] I am very pleased with this lens. In a wide variety of shooting situations on my Sony A7Rii, it has given me very sharp images - all the way from 24 to 240 mm. While i have not performed a professional set of test (all apertures, all focal lengths, all subject distances, in practical use it has been just great. I have it on my camera most of the time now. One small lack that i should perhaps mention: it is not par focal. I have to press the autofocus button every time i zoom to compose the image I want. This is not a major problem for me.

[Neoprene] Great lens for the price! I love the feel of it. The zoom does not slip in and out. Not too heavy either. I can get good shots zooming all the way out. What I love about this lens is the fact I dont have to switch lenses anymore. Great range from 24-240 mm.

It really is wonderful travel despite being heavy (talk about later) It's not the best for low light, but with a7r ii I can push it a bit more. Not as much as a prime, but still quite nice in my opinion. I find it very sharp throughout all focal ranges. I was very surprised by how sharp it is even though it has a massive range. You can still obviously get bokeh with this lens and again, even though it's not a 1.4 or anything, I was still able to achieve some bokeh if I wanted. All in all, this is THE lens for traveling around if you only want to bring your body and a lens. It's heavy though... but worth it still. I haven't bought the planar 1.4 50mm yet to compare sharpness.

[Neoprene] I have 5 lenses now for my A7SIII and this is the one that stays on it 95% of the time. The only time I swap lenses now is to go wider with the Sony 12-24 F4.

Sure, there are sharper lenses, but the 24-240 range is so convenient - 24mm is perfectly fine for vlogging and wide angle shots and 240mm, especially with clear image zoom, is more than enough for anything in the distance. I wasn't sure it could replace my Sigma 24-70 and Tamron 70-300, but I'm completely satisfied with the image quality so those lenses sit on the shelf now. It's also slightly lighter than the Sigma 24-70, which is a plus.
