The Realtree Max5 Sony FE 24-240mm LensCoat Realtree Max5 Coverwraps the lens in a 100% closed-cell waterproof neoprene jacket, offering protection from wet weather, bumps, jars, and nicks. This coat allows your lens to blend in with your surroundings, making it a valuable accessory for nature and outdoor photographers and helping to camouflage your lens from wildlife. It is also useful for sports shooters and photojournalists who are regularly subjected to less than optimal shooting and climate conditions.

The LensCoat Lens Cover provides a thermal barrier, protecting your hands from cold lens surfaces in lower temperatures. It is easy to install and remove, leaving no residue on the lens. Because of the increased protection this covering provides, it can help preserve the resale value of your lens. The Realtree Max5 is a detailed pattern for effective cover in open terrain. The pattern incorporates cattails, reeds, cane, and grasses to blend into flooded marshes plus corn, wheat, oats, and sunflowers to hide you in open fields.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this also fit the Tamron 24-70mm 2.8?

A: I'm really not sure but I very much doubt it. Check the physical dimensions of both lenses on the manufactures web sites but even then they would need to be the exact same shape which is unlikely.

Q: 2. What size is need for the Canon 11-24mm f/4L USM?

A: The LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (Medium, Black), B&H # LELCHMBK, would be the correct LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover for use with the Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L USM Lens.

Q: 3. What is the right size for Sony 200-600 lens? Will it fit when the lens hood is already donned with lens coat skin?

A: The LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (X-Large, Black) is the correct size for the Sony hood on the 200-600mm lens. And yes, it can be used over a LensCoat skin.

Q: 4. Will this product fit the nikor 24mm f/1.4 lens with it's hood reversed?

A: I bought this for the 50mm Nikon lens to fit over the lens shade for protection and quick on and off capability. The product was protective but fit so snugly over the shade that it was slow to remove and re-attach.

Q: 5. What size LensCoat Lens Hoodie would you recommend for the SAMYANG 8/3.5HD FISHEYE LENS W/HOOD? The diameter of the hood is 2.75 inches so this is right on the size boundary.

A: I have both an extra small and a small Len Coat Hoodie. I can put them both over a lens with 3 diameter lens shades however the small size is a bit easier to fit, particularly if the lens shade is deeper.Lens Coat's does not appear to indicate the hood size of their hoodie's. In my opinion it would also be better if they provided pull taps on the hoodie to help pull these hoodies over the end of the lens. I use them on lens that I like to keep the lens hood/shade attached to the lens.

Q: 6. What size for Sony 20 - 70mm F4 lens?

A: The Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 24-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens diameter is 2.87". So, the LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (X-Small, Black), BH #LELCHXSBK, is the correct size.

Q: 7. Does it work with the Tokina SD 16-28mm 2.8?

A: I purchased this hood for the same lens. It makes a snug fit, and the end is fairly solid, so it should not contact the glass. However, it does remove the snap-on lens cover I was using as a replacement for the original Tokina lens cover.

Q: 8. what size realtree lenscoat hoodie fits the canon RF 70 -200f2.8L?

A: The LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (Large, Realtree Max4 HD) is the best fit of that for the Canon RF 70 -200f2.8L, But it is a touch too large and the next size down is too small. We do suggest a different brand and it is this one, https://bhpho.to/40HqusU .

Q: 9. Will this cover the Nikon Z 24-70 2.8 S lens?

A: No, the following lens coat is for the Nikon AF-S Zoom 24-70mm f/2.8G ED autofocus lens.

Q: 10. what size fits the canon 400mm 2.8 iii?

A: The XXXX-large is the one that will fit. You can click the link below to view; https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/508943-REG/LensCoat_LCH4XLBK_XXXX_Large_Hoodie_Lens_Hood.html

[Neoprene] Tried having walking on the park for some bird shots... good i have this coz if not for this my camera would be scratch free no more, didn't notice the branch sticking infront of me and hit my camera, well, if you invest an expensive camera, why not protect it.

[Neoprene] I was skeptical about using these....but it worked out great. Shooting in colder conditions and keeping everything from getting beat up. I have them for each lens now.

[Neoprene] In the past, I've always used the plain black LensCoat Lens Covers, but with these Realtree Max4 covers (both this one and the one for the 500mm PF) give me the feeling that the wildlife I'm shooting pictures of can't see me. These work where ever I'll be shooting - from Colorado to Kenya.

[0.135 lb] Couldn't ask for a better lens. Very sharp images and focuses fast. If you like the option that a zoom lenses gives then this is the lens for you. It is just like the 70-200 2.8 lens but only at a shorter distance. Would recommend this lens for everyone, at every level of photography.

[0.135 lb] This is a great product. I do a lot of wildlife, bif photography. I have osteoarthritis in my hands and the GH2 has kept me in the game. Any gimbal would work, but being on a budget I couldn't do the Wimbley. I have to say the gh2 is smooth as silk in every direction. I don't see spending any more money. Totality pleased with item.
