A: This tripod has a standard screw thread. Viewing images of the Kodak camera of your child, I think so would serve properly. I used it with dslr cameras, point and shoot, and gopro (with an adapter to gopro because she does not bring thread)

A: Angling the camera lens within the hood would present no problem at all. This is an excellent product. I have used this hood many many many times traveling on the trains in Europe. It has allowed me to take photos from the train in situations where the reflections on the train windows made it otherwise impossible. Highly recommended product.

A: You can use this to suction cup to the backboard. This will be able to eliminate any light from going into frame.
