Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) is an oil-based thermoplastic. While more susceptible to warping than polylactide (PLA) because of the need for higher temperatures and a heated print bed, ABS has higher strength, flexibility, and durability.

A: No 120v only. The device is very simple and somewhat crude in construction but works really really well. Nothing fancy but gets the job done.

A: It isn't a pic-n-pluck style. The foam was precutted to fit Lanparte gear.

A: According to Porta-Trace/Gagne, it is 4 and 1/8" thick. :)

[Brown] Using with Makerbot2x. It prints great and it's one less color i have to paint. The spool is larger than the one that came with the original Makerbot. 5

[ABS] This filament works perfectly in my printer with no defects or clogs. The color is strong and bright. I'm very happy with it and recommend it to others for 3D printing. 5

[3.04 lb] Had some other brand ABS+ that was supposedly for high speed printers, but it was warping like mad. I bought this on a whim, and it worked perfectly first time. Have yet to have a failed print with it (knock on wood). 5
