This Watson Pro 4 High-Draw 98Wh Slim Batteries & Dual Charger Kitsupports two Gold mount batteries and offers a 4-pin XLR power output, providing dual-purpose functionality in a portable, handy design. It's capable of simultaneous charging, and the XLR port offers useful versatility. An ergonomic carry handle, flip-out kickstand, rubberized feet, On/Off switch, and LED status indicators complete the design and allow for comfortable and efficient operation.

This charger delivers simultaneous charging at 2.5A per channel, and provides 5A when charging a single battery. The 4-pin XLR power output can be used to power select cameras from an AC outlet or off of connected batteries. A special feature of this charger is that when it's connected to a power outlet, it is capable of charging the batteries and providing power through the XLR output at the same time, as opposed to one or the other as is more common.

Additionally, an XLR cable is included, giving you everything you need to make full use of this charger. The charger supports 100-240 VAC power input, so it can be used worldwide with the right plug adapters (sold separately).

[10 x 9.8 x 4.5"] I use these with my Lumix GH5 and a D-Tap adapter. So far, I have not had a shoot that exceeds the battery capacity, so all I know is that they will last for at least 2 hours of continuous shooting. The USB port is great for powering accessories or charging on the go. Make sure to press the test button to power on the USB port. Charger will charge these batteries simultaneously or sequential charging is used for higher capacities. 5

[4.045 lb] Love this battery on my cinema rigged Sony FX3. Light weight and great form factor, I pass power by usb-c to the FX3, run D-tap to my monitor and charge my wireless receiver for audio all at the same time. 5

[10 x 9.8 x 4.5"] I like the watson batteries. They are on the cheaper side but have held up well over the years. I have been really happy with mine. I encounter a lot of batteries as I travel around the us and most people have junkly looking and feeling batteries. These power my stuff like they should but also I have to take them off and put them on. I have a to see them and be seen with them. Look and feel is important. 5

[Simultaneous] I began capturing at about 12:30p and ended at 6:30p. This battery not obit captured 45 minutes of a documentary-styled interview for an Austin Real Estate client but it also powered my edelkrone HeadPlus, the focus and the slider from about 1p until 6:30p. No stress. Just took my time to capture and got all the shots I needed. 5

[LED] This is a truly awesome battery. I needed a v-mount battery to power some video lighting equipment and I landed on this Watson for three reasons. First, the size and weight. This is a small battery with a 50Wh capacity which might be too small for some people who are looking to run a power-hungry rig, but for me, it’s perfect. The small size makes is super easy to add to my bag and doesn’t add much weight to my kit. Second, the variety of outputs. This battery doesn’t only provide power through the v-mount but also through USB Type-A, USB Type-C, Micro USB, and D-Tap. That’s awesome. I can power my phone, my laptop (assuming you have a Type-C charger), and really anything else with the pretty universal D-Tap connector. One battery can do it all. Third, the user interface. Gone are the days of using vague LED’s to interpret the remaining charge, battery voltage, and output voltage. This battery has a great backlit screen that gives me all of the information I need on the batteries condition. Lastly, and I think this is one of the most important aspects of a battery, it does appear to truly be a 50Wh battery. Obviously, you might get slightly less if you draw more current more quickly, but for my use case (and estimation) the 50Wh rating appears to be pretty close to accurate. I love it.
