Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this battery have to be voltage regulated for use with multiple variants of devices such as Atomos monitors mixed with edelkrone products running from one battery?

A: Yes. Because the Atomos Ninja's input voltage is 5.8-7.2V (battery), and the output voltage of almost any block battery is at least 14.4V, the battery cable needs to be regulated.

Q: 2. Can this battery be charged with a standard Anton Bauer Gold Mount charger?

A: At this time we are recommending using Anton Bauer chargers only for Anton Bauer batteries.

Q: 3. Can I charge batteries of different Wh simultaneously on this? For example, one battery that is 294 Wh and the other three are 95 Wh?

A: Yes you can.

Q: 4. Hi there! Can I charge TITON 150 batteries? Thank you!

A: It may not. For Anton Bauer Titon 150 Gold Mount Lithium-Ion Battery you will want to stick with Anton Bauer chargers only. https://bhpho.to/2JOAadA

Q: 5. Is this compatible to charge RED digital cinema redbricks?

A: The manufacturer states that the RED BRICK battery requires a RED BRICK Charger to charge.

Q: 6. So this is just a rebadged FXlion battery? Is it identical?

A: The Watson 14.4V 50Wh Micro is not identical but similar in features to the Fxlion NANO ONE 50Wh. The Watson is listed as 14.4V and alternatively the Fxlion is listed as 14.8V.

Q: 7. Will it charge the Green Extreme gold mount batteries? Other generic batteries?

A: Yes, the Watson Pro Quad Position Li-Ion Simultaneous Battery Charger (Gold Mount) would be able to charge other brands of batteries. As long as they are Gold Mount batteries you will be able to charge other brand names with this charger. Also, Anton Bauer batteries may not charge with the Watson Charger.

Q: 8. Will this work with v mount batteries from other manufacturers like Switronix or Anton Bauer?

A: I don't have this exact product but I'm pretty sure v-mount is a standard. So it will work with any v-mount battery regardless of the brand.

Q: 9. Hi, Is this charger compatible with core swx batteries? Thanks!

A: There is no compatibility listing regarding these two products. You may proceed at your own risk. That being said, most likely there should not be any issue. If there is a problem, usually what is incompatible is the battery power level meters performing correctly.

Q: 10. Is this compatible/safe for use with Anton Bauer G Titon 90 batteries?

A: no this is NOT compatible with Anton bauer batteries

[1.3 lb] Great size, build and price! Gives me 5hrs of runtime on the Canon R5C via USB-C!

[1.3 lb] The only compact footprint battery I found with a USB Type C port. It also has USB A, microUB and D-Tap. It is only slightly bigger overall that the IDX micro model. But the Watson allows me to quickly top off my laptop, drone and Tentacle Sync E or Track E during a break with USB C and my SONY A6400 via microUSB.. The USB A port powers my iPhone with the OEM lightning cable when it needs it. The other highlight is that it lasted 4:08 hours before it was depleted and the Komodo with WiFi ON and screen brightness set to 50% lost power. It was an endurance test to see how long 98Wh could since I couldn't find real-world info anywhere. While filming I just glance at the built in screen and see how much power it has left. There are also 4 leds to indicate the charge level.
Finally its weight and size are great at counterbalancing the lens upfront. I shot with a SIGMA 18-35 T2 for a continuous 24h last weekend and the rig felt great with 8Sinn cage + Nato Rail Top Pro handle. 10A continuous max draw. I haven't had to draw more so far the way I use my gear.
Highly recommended.

[1.3 lb] I recently bought two of these and have not been disappointed. I charge them with my MBP's power supply and it's been reliable and fast to refuel. The USB-C in/out is killer, as are the other ports.

They're lightweight but the build quality feels rock solid. I have zero gripes about this battery.

[1.3 lb] I began capturing at about 12:30p and ended at 6:30p. This battery not obit captured 45 minutes of a documentary-styled interview for an Austin Real Estate client but it also powered my edelkrone HeadPlus, the focus and the slider from about 1p until 6:30p. No stress. Just took my time to capture and got all the shots I needed.

[1.3 lb] Great battery kit at a solid price. The batteries feel high quality in the hand. I was worried they might look and feel cheap but they don’t at all. The batteries power my Astra 6x very feel!

[1.3 lb] Love this battery on my cinema rigged Sony FX3. Light weight and great form factor, I pass power by usb-c to the FX3, run D-tap to my monitor and charge my wireless receiver for audio all at the same time.

[1.3 lb] I have only used them a couple times so far, but I've used many different brands in the past, some that had a premium price and the Watson's preformed just as well for much less out of the wallet.

[1.3 lb] This is a truly awesome battery. I needed a v-mount battery to power some video lighting equipment and I landed on this Watson for three reasons.

First, the size and weight. This is a small battery with a 50Wh capacity which might be too small for some people who are looking to run a power-hungry rig, but for me, it’s perfect. The small size makes is super easy to add to my bag and doesn’t add much weight to my kit.

Second, the variety of outputs. This battery doesn’t only provide power through the v-mount but also through USB Type-A, USB Type-C, Micro USB, and D-Tap. That’s awesome. I can power my phone, my laptop (assuming you have a Type-C charger), and really anything else with the pretty universal D-Tap connector. One battery can do it all.

Third, the user interface. Gone are the days of using vague LED’s to interpret the remaining charge, battery voltage, and output voltage. This battery has a great backlit screen that gives me all of the information I need on the batteries condition.

Lastly, and I think this is one of the most important aspects of a battery, it does appear to truly be a 50Wh battery. Obviously, you might get slightly less if you draw more current more quickly, but for my use case (and estimation) the 50Wh rating appears to be pretty close to accurate. I love it.
