[1] Shipped very fast to western Canada without any damage to the box or product. The printer is exceptionally easy to set up and use right out of the box. The resolution can be dialled in to make the most amazing prints at a very fast speed. Awesome product from an awesome company. Would recommend both the business and the product time and time again.

[1] This printer just works! Loaded up over 20 prints all perfect. Online tools work great and the software is easy to use. With the RF chips the the prints come out perfect every time. Ordered 4 more spools of eco-abs and some white to boot. Most everything I have printed has a use. Enjoy using it.

[Enclosed] This Dremel unit has met and surpassed all of the other printers I own. From speed to accuracy and simplicity of use, this is by far! my favorite unit. I do many comparative tests as head-to-heads as well as detail, accuracy, ease of use, etc. In all comparisons against the following, this one wins, HANDS DOWN!! (in order of preference):
1. (With a bullet) Dremel 3D45
2. (Close second, although the build plate would be better as a heated bed) Makerbot Replicator + (with both the Smart Extruder + and the Experimental Exturder)
3. (Solid performance, although the multi-head approach is a little bit of a pain. Not a deal breaker, but not ideal) Afinia H+1
4. (Good Print, but very slow by comparison) XYZ DaVinci
5. (NOT RECOMMENDED) FlashForge Inventor.

[1] The setup is pretty straightforward.
However, the yellow sticker is hard to get off from the front window.

[Enclosed] I spent countless hours researching 3D printers. I wanted one that would provide good prints, without a lot of tweaking, so that I could introduce our grandkids to the world of 3D printing. I’m so glad I chose the Dremel Digilab 3D45! So far, the only “bad” print was due to user error when using the slicing software. All other prints have met or exceeded my expectations. Set up was really easy and I was printing within 20 minutes after opening the box.

[Enclosed] I did a lot of research for a great 3D printer.  There were a couple that were recommended to me but when doing internet searches, reviews on CNET and other tech websites I kept coming back to the Dremel 3D45.

Ive done a couple of test prints and the results are fantastic.

What I love:
- the setup was a breeze.  The display screen walks you through each step from connecting to a network, leveling the bed and even telling you to put a thin coat of paste (included) on the glass bed.  Plug and play!
- the RFID on the reels (also see what I hate) that give you automatic temperature settings.
- the enclosed print bed.  Since I have my printer setup in the garage it helps control the temp for the whole printer.
- ability to load projects from a computer through the home network connection

What I hate:
- the Dremel RFID filament spools are a great time saver but since the spools are not as wide and the recess in the case will only take the Dremel spools and allow the recess cover to be used.  While I have not yet tried another brands filament most likely Ill need an external spool holder.
- the touch panel is not capacitive touch and can be a bit finnicky to make selections.  Ive got fat fingers and found myself backing up during setup on a few occasions.
- the display was flickering while doing setup, almost like a loose connection.   During printing the display was very clear and consistent.  Very odd.
- Price... a bit high but I did catch it on sale and saved $200.  With B&Hs free shipping and no sales tax it made it even more of a deal.

All and all I think picking the Dremel Digilab 3D45 was the right choice and will be more than perfect for what I need!
