I’m so glad I chose the Dremel Digilab 3D45! So far, the only “bad” print was due to user error when using the slicing software. All other prints have met or exceeded my expectations. Set up was really easy and I was printing within 20 minutes after opening the box.

[0.3 lb] And the reason is that it works flawlessly out of the box. I previously bought a Creality machine and got so frustrated with it that I literally took it to the dump and chucked it. On the Dremel I first printed a tiny bit of the froggy then went right to my 88 hour 70% infill print job creating a 4" to 2" reducer for a computer fan for my racing sim. It is not finished yet but so far looks beautiful. This machine is not inexpensive, but quality and build convenience have a price.

I had a shipping problem between B&H and FedEx and the first machine arrived beat up. B&H corrected it immediately by shipping out a replacement without question.

[0.3 lb] The 3D40 Flex 3D print is my first 3D printer. It was easy to set up and bed leveling was extremely easy even for a beginner. It can be connected to the computer with WIFI, USB, or Ethernet. The flexible table makes part removal easy. I've used this printer more than I thought I would before I purchased it. I've been able to create things easily using free software. Dremel provides free slicing software, but I did opt to purchase Simply 3D, which has built-in defaults for my printer. My daughter now calls me a Craft Geek.

[0.3 lb] I love my Dremel 3D45. Building out of the box within about 10 minutes. Flexible firm and software. Excellent user interface. So easy to use and great results. Don't hesitate.

[0.3 lb] I'm a STEM teacher that just started at a school with a new 3D printer. I don't have a lot of experience with 3D printing, so I was a little intimidated at first. Setting up the printer was very simple and straightforward. I started with the preset builds on the LCD screen and moved on to different designs I've found online. I had an issue with the drag and drop files feature on the print cloud, but easily worked through the solution with tech support (who was very friendly and helpful). I'm consistently impressed with the level of detail and accuracy in the performance of this model. Now I just keep surprising myself with all the ways I can infuse 3D printing into my curriculum. I've been so excited about it that my partner wants us to get one for our apartment. Very happy that my school went with this model and would recommend to both beginners and more advanced 3D printing enthusiasts.

[0.3 lb] This Dremel unit has met and surpassed all of the other printers I own. From speed to accuracy and simplicity of use, this is by far! my favorite unit. I do many comparative tests as head-to-heads as well as detail, accuracy, ease of use, etc. In all comparisons against the following, this one wins, HANDS DOWN!! (in order of preference):
1. (With a bullet) Dremel 3D45
2. (Close second, although the build plate would be better as a heated bed) Makerbot Replicator + (with both the Smart Extruder + and the Experimental Exturder)
3. (Solid performance, although the multi-head approach is a little bit of a pain. Not a deal breaker, but not ideal) Afinia H+1
4. (Good Print, but very slow by comparison) XYZ DaVinci
5. (NOT RECOMMENDED) FlashForge Inventor.
