Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this waterproof?

A: It will hold outdoors for short term when printed with a pigment ink printer. Just let it dry for a while (my recommendation, 24 hrs.) after printing before hanging outside.

Q: 2. Can these be used when making contact prints of 4x5 negatives? Will the flap show up in the print?

A: Yes, the Print File 4 x 5 Polypropylene FoldFlap Sleeves (50-Pack) can be used when making contact prints with 4x5 negatives, but it may reduce the quality of the print.

Q: 3. Will sleeved negatives fit back into the 4x5 film box?

A: When using the Print File 4 x 5 Polypropylene FoldFlap Sleeves, you can put the sleeved film back into a 4 x 5" film box (such as a Kodak Tri-X 4 x 5" box). Please note that it will curl up slightly on the side, but it will not damage the film.

Q: 4. Will this paper work with pigment ink?

A: Yes it is compatible with pigment inks.

Q: 5. Is this 3 core

A: The Premier Imaging Polypropylene Film (36" x 100' Roll) comes on a 2" core.

Q: 6. Can this be used for outdoor sinage?

A: Yes, this paper is made for outdoor signage

Q: 7. Could it work for A4 size 5 mil thick magazines???

A: The Print File Polypropylene Presentation Pocket (9 x 12", 100-Pack) can hold A4 size 5-mil thick magazines.

Q: 8. Can it be used in the Epson iPF670e?

A: I am not showing an Epson model IPF670e. But I do show a Canon model IPG670e. This roll would work with the Canon IPF670E

Q: 9. I have 4 by 7-inch glass negatives from the 19th century. Will these be ideal for archival storage?

A: As long as you are careful with inserting the glass negative into the Print File Negative Pocket and it is stored somewhere that will protect it from being crushed or broken during storage, yes, the Print File Negative Pocket (5 x 7-, 100 Pack) may be used for your archival storage usage needs.

Q: 10. Will this negative pocket fit in a 4 x 5 film box?

A: The Print File Negative Pocket (4 x 5", 100 Pack) is 5.25 x 5.19 inches so it would not fit into a cardboard box such as the ones that ship with Kodak 4x5 films.

[Polypropylene] I have used these for years for all of my fine art darkroom prints. 11x14 fiber based prints fit perfectly. They are easy to handle and durable. There has never been a reason for me to try or use anything else.

[6.66 lb] Very clear. These do not take away from the print too much Very good way to protect working prints and those I want to show to friends without framing.

[6.66 lb] These plastic sleeves only cost pennies apiece, but they protect valuable prints from moisture and dust.

[Polypropylene] Traditional storage product for prints, having been already dried and flattened, keeping our grubby fingers off the surface while affording a crystal clear view. They are quite slippery though, so if you pick up a bunch, empty or with prints inside, be prepared for that.

[6.66 lb] I bought these, along with a Canon Selphy CP1300 to give Santa photos to children at a church Christmas party. They work great for keeping sticky fingers off the prints long enough so the prints make it, intact, home. Perfect!
