[0.01 lb] I was assigned an issue wherein portions of the lighted signage around our hospital campus needed to show red instead of white when lit up at night. The bids I received from signage companies weren't terribly attractive (north of four digits per sign), so I was asked ...to get creative. Another technician and I determined that a theatrical or photo gel should work out so we followed the idea. As it ended up, correcting the incorrect signage for the ENTIRE campus totalled about $80 plus labor, and our results were a much more prominent red than what 'pros' came up with at a fraction of the cost. While this is not quite the application that this product was intended, it works admirably. Oh, and Thank you B&H for great service!

The best solution was to make my own.
A cool store associate spent about 10-15 minutes going (quickly) through the entire color palette so I could find all four “main trues”...Red, Green, Blue & Yellow.
The sheets B&H sell are way larger than I expected, so along with the quality, this was also a great value.
I double up for the color cast I want, but with the amount you get, you can definitely afford to do that.

[0.01 lb] The heat coming from my Hotlights is a delicate subject, with this product that heat gets diminishid on very high percentage, allowing to spot on gels and umbrellas. This heat shield was placed on my Lowel DP 1000 watts at 1 inch from the Bulb, (that is very close), For several hours.

[0.01 lb] Look, I needed to stop having my gels melt under 300 watt LEDs on full power after 1hr. Now I have 600watt LEDs! Did a little research and found out that it's the UV end of the spectrum that's super heating my gels and causing them to melt. Further into the rabbit hole I learned that these are used in Hollywood to stop gels from melting. Place it between your light and the gel and boom. Your gels last 20xs longer! They come in good sized 20x24in sheets. If your using reflectors 7in - 11in reflectors - you can simply cut some to size and use clothes pins (c47's). If your using barndoors...a simple c47 will be even easier. This tool will save you LOTS of money in gels and the enormous cost of shipping one single sheet. Definitely buy this if your using gels with your LEDs - it'll save you money... Lots of money. Note: don't put this or any gel directly against the lighting element of your light.

[Rectangle] We used this for a 'Red Light' effect. It came shipped securely and packaged well in a thick poster tube. The color turned out great and worked perfectly as intended.
