Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I think you have the load capacity wrong for this model. Everywhere else I see it as 17-22lbs. The 11-17lbs looks to be way off. Can you verify?

A: The 400 series is rated for 17-22 pounds.

Q: 2. Can I attach a Flowcine Serene to the Easyrig Minimax?

A: You physically can and if you stay within the max camera weight of the minimax it will work however it's not recommended by Easyrig.

Q: 3. Is there a way to upgrade the payload range slightly. I got the mini max, and just weighed my camera which came out to 16lbs?

A: We offer different support bars for this system. You could change the Support Bar to one that supports 17-24 pounds or 11-17 pounds. 17-24 Pound Support Bar -https://bhpho.to/2WZuG6W 11-17 Pound Support Bar - https://bhpho.to/2JXb2Vd

Q: 4. Would my Panasonic UX 180 be too light?

A: Yes, the Panasonic UX180 is significantly too light for the 59 to 70 lb Load Capacity of the Easyrig 1200N Standard Cinema Flex Vest with Standard Top Bar & Quick Release.

Q: 5. Can you set this up with a ronin rs2 or is it just camera body

A: Yes you can use this with an RS2 as well. You will need to purchase the Easyrig Quick Release Camera Mount (BH #EAERIGEA033Q • MFR #ERIG-EA033-Q) to mount the RS2 on the Easy Rig.

Q: 6. I do a lot of shooting outside and am going to be investing in a quality EVF. It looks like this is primarily to support cameras out in front of the body ie with a monitor set up. Is this still relevant/useful for shooting with an EVF?

A: Yes, this vest is perfect for using a shoulder rig, in which you can set up the Electronic ViewFinder (EVF) on your camera, and using the the Easyrig mini to clip onto the top handle on your camera and allow for the weight to be supported and a more stabilized shot.. The key is to make sure that the arm that extends above the head, is adjusted so that the pull down cord is close to the front of your shoulder. The arms that are made to be extended length are good for using a handheld rig infront of your chest and not using an EVF. This Easyrig gives you a lot of flexibilty as to which rigs you may want to use tor stabilization.

Q: 7. Are there any recommended accessories to make a small gimbal experience better? Like the Serene or Puppeteer?

A: That really would depend on the camera or rig you are using and what features mean the most to you. So that we may best assist you finding the proper product for your needs feel free to email us directly at askbh@bhphotovideo.com.

A: Yes, the Tilta top handle will support your rig on the Easyrig Minimax.

Q: 9. Hey guys can i use my Ronin M + Red Raven with that setup?

A: As long as your complete setup does not exceed 15 pounds you will be able to use the Minimax.

Q: 10. Can this be used in conjunction with a shoulder rig i.e. shooting with the camera resting on the shoulder with the Easyrig Minimax helping relieve the weight on the arms?

A: Yes it can be.
