Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this be used in conjunction with a shoulder rig i.e. shooting with the camera resting on the shoulder with the Easyrig Minimax helping relieve the weight on the arms?

A: Yes it can be.

Q: 2. I do a lot of shooting outside and am going to be investing in a quality EVF. It looks like this is primarily to support cameras out in front of the body ie with a monitor set up. Is this still relevant/useful for shooting with an EVF?

A: Yes, this vest is perfect for using a shoulder rig, in which you can set up the Electronic ViewFinder (EVF) on your camera, and using the the Easyrig mini to clip onto the top handle on your camera and allow for the weight to be supported and a more stabilized shot.. The key is to make sure that the arm that extends above the head, is adjusted so that the pull down cord is close to the front of your shoulder. The arms that are made to be extended length are good for using a handheld rig infront of your chest and not using an EVF. This Easyrig gives you a lot of flexibilty as to which rigs you may want to use tor stabilization.
