[0.1 lb] It nice for solo as well with a Puller. The numbers are clear and easy to read and smooth. I was disappointed when I had to mount it on the right side of camera when I was making space for a matte box until I notice the lens gear could be mounted on both sides the unit. Then I was sold. Well worth the price. I use it with a Rokinon Xeen 135mm T2.2 and XEEN CF 24mm T1.5. Very easy to adjust on the 15mm rods for both lens. Once adjusted it solid and smooth, and can be mounted easily on both sides if needed.

[2 x 2 x 0.5"] I assumed all follow focuses were a standard size hard stop screw since both mine are so. This is larger than what I use. Lesson learned, no fault in quality, and I am sure I can use it to hold something together someday.

[2 x 2 x 0.5"] Very pleased with the quality /design of this gear. Having designed injected molds in my past I'm impressed. Would suggest that the pitch and tooth count be printed on the part, presently it only has the pitch printed on the part.

[0.1 lb] I was nervous ordering this follow focus because I could not find reviews anywhere, I took a leap of faith and it paid off. I was looking for a follow focus that I could invest into one time and expect it to last through different camera rigs and many years. I like the form factor of the Arri studio Follow focuses and I wanted to try to find one like the Arris but at a lower price. This follow focus seems to be the cheapest in the professional studio class and I think stands up the same as a Chrosziel, O'Connor or Arri. You can feel the quality on this Follow focus everything is made out of aluminum except of the marking disks and parts of the focus wheel. I can see this unit being able to take quite a beating. I like that every this is adjustable, you have the choice of three different gears (all 0.8 pitch) that can mount on either side of the belt drive arm and the arm its self can move to either side of the unit. The focus wheel can come out and it looks to have the same sized shaft as an Arri so you might be able to get different wheels and such for it. Out of the box you can either mount to 19mm rods of 15mm light weight.One thing I appreciate is the inclusion of a 64 tooth gear along with the standard 43tooth gears, when I first put the unit on my camera rig the 42tooth gears were too small to reach my small photographic lenses but with the 64tooth gear it was not a problem and I almost guarantee there is no lens it could not reach.I will say there is a very minuscule amount of play in the unit but not enough that I would pay another few grand for a more expensive follow focus. The included whip SUCKS it would just turn in place as I tried to pull focus, it's about as useful as over cooked spaghetti. Everything else in the kit is great though!All in all this thing is great!!!!
