[21 x 17 x 2.5"] This item is perfect for its intended use, to safely house old family portraits and artwork for long-term archival storage.

[3 lb] I had to make a portfolio box with mounted pictures inside and turn it into a professor. This product professionally brought the portfolio together storing my mounted images in one concise place.

[3 lb] I use these boxes to store 11x17 archival inkjet prints. They seem very well made, sturdy and clean. Archival Methods boxes last a long time.

[21 x 17 x 2.5"] This is much higher quality than I was expecting. We put custom foam in it and we're using it as a display box for hardware samples for our business, so we needed it to be heavy duty and a quality presentation. This definitely fits the bill. As far as archival purposes, I would definitely buy this for my archived documents as well, it will last a lot longer than the traditional archival portfolios with a lid.

[3 lb] I purchased this product as part of a Photographic Portfolio class. A couple of other students purchased the same type of box. Overall, it performed well for the intended purpose and, to me, was just as good if not more useful than some of the expensive ($100) portfolio cases. As described it is a black box with a white interior; there are no plastic sleeves. When viewing, the photos are lifted out of one half of the box and placed into the other. If you want to keep your photos in order for the next reviewer, I recommend carefully placing them facedown in the other half of the box. When it is time to reset them, all you have to do is lift the stack and turn it over. Otherwise, you have to resort the stack one photo at a time.

[3 lb] This item was used for safely keeping a 100+ year old family book, which considering its age is in faily good condition, but is beginning to show signs of wear & tear and had not previously been stored in an archival manner. The Clamshell Archival Box suited our needs perfectly for an outer casing to house our family heirloom.
