Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this available in xs-small? How do you differentiate when ordering?

A: The size of the Easyrig is based on the camera, not the user. If an xs-small vest was made, it would not adequately fit the operator or be able to hold it's 39 lbs payload. The various Easyrigs are adjustable to most any body size. There are Easyrigs that are made for female operators as well. So that we may best assist you, please email us. provideo@bhphoto.com.

Q: 2. Hey guys can i use my Ronin M + Red Raven with that setup?

A: As long as your complete setup does not exceed 15 pounds you will be able to use the Minimax.

Q: 3. What are the pros/cons of the quick release vs. the standard hook version? If it matters, I plan to use this with a Canon C300 Mk III.

A: The pros of the quick release beats the standard release by a mile. On and off in a second with no struggle with the quick release. I would pay extra for it.

Q: 4. How heavy is this stabil version? The specs are incomplete.

A: The weight of the Easyrig Minimax STABIL Light Gimbal/Camera Support System is about 16 lb.

Q: 5. Can you adjust the tension on this one like you can on the Vario 5? So you can choose how much weight you want to take?

A: Yes, just twist the knob on the back of the EasyRig

Q: 6. When you buy the QR version, does it also come with the Lockable Camera Hook with Spring as well? or is it one or the other?

A: it is one or the other, you can either use the Easyrig Quick Release Camera Mount ERIG-EA033-Q or the camera hook

Q: 7. Is there a carrying case for this product?

A: All Easy Rig products come with a transporter bag. Once it is in stock, we will list it In the Box.

Q: 8. Is the vest one size fits all?

A: For the most part, yes. I'm a relatively smaller dude... 5'9 155lbs. It fits me nicely, but all of the straps are as tight as they can go. If you are smaller it'd likely be difficult to get a snug fit. It looks very expandable from there though. My 6'2 220lbs. friend used it no problem. So if you are bigger/taller you'd be fine. Not sure what the upper ceiling is for weight/height. All straps are adjustable seem to conform to various body types. Hope this helps!

Q: 9. Does minimax works with slightly overweight setup ? Let say my total setup will be around 16lbs-18lbs . Is it still possible or it's a totally no ?

A: NO it will not, overloading the support is not recommended and any damage incurred may void the manufacturers warranty as the device isn't being used withing the designated parameters

Q: 10. this mentions only working with the "standard arm". Does that mean if you have a 9" gimbal arm, these are incompatible?

A: No, they would be compatible.
