Q: 1. I've run into an issue where the placement screw knob (located on the overhang that adjusts where the camera hangs) is actually jamming the cable, so that I can't adjust the height of the camera. Any thoughts or fixes?

Q: 2. Can I attach a Flowcine Serene to the Easyrig Minimax?

A: You physically can and if you stay within the max camera weight of the minimax it will work however it's not recommended by Easyrig.

Q: 3. Can you set this up with a ronin rs2 or is it just camera body

A: Yes you can use this with an RS2 as well. You will need to purchase the Easyrig Quick Release Camera Mount (BH #EAERIGEA033Q • MFR #ERIG-EA033-Q) to mount the RS2 on the Easy Rig.

Q: 4. Can this squeeze into a Pelican 1600 case?

A: No, we are afraid not. The folded Easyrig is 26 long where as the Pelican 1600 is only 21.43 long in it's interior. So we suggest the Pelican 1615Air Wheeled Check-In Case (Black, with Pick-N-Pluck Foam) B&H # PE1615ACWFBK. Its interior is 29.59 long and will easily accommodate the Easyrig.

Q: 5. Is this meant to attach JUST a camera to? Or could you also attach say a Ronin M w/ a7sii?

A: Yes, you can attach Ronin on to this. My rig is about 16lbsand this effortlessly carry tgat. I'm using Ronin 3 axle gimbal with blackmagic production camera with Canon 50mm cine prime lens. very useful rig.

Q: 6. Hi. I am considering this with the Flowcine Gravity One. Do I need to order the Cinema 3 or the Gimbal Rig to work with that? I assume the Cinema 3? Camera is a Varicam35. Thanks for a quick reply.

A: Sounds like the Cinema 3 will do the trick. I cant remember the weight range of Cinema 3 but be sure that your total built camera is in the weight range or you will not be happy with the performance of the EasyRig. I went with the Vario because I expect to run different size and weight cameras on my Gimbal rig. Good luck!

Q: 7. Does this come with a bungee or rope, or do you need to purchase something separately? What is best to use with a Ronin-M?

A: It come with everything you need to get started with the Ronin M.

Q: 8. I do a lot of shooting outside and am going to be investing in a quality EVF. It looks like this is primarily to support cameras out in front of the body ie with a monitor set up. Is this still relevant/useful for shooting with an EVF?

A: Yes, this vest is perfect for using a shoulder rig, in which you can set up the Electronic ViewFinder (EVF) on your camera, and using the the Easyrig mini to clip onto the top handle on your camera and allow for the weight to be supported and a more stabilized shot.. The key is to make sure that the arm that extends above the head, is adjusted so that the pull down cord is close to the front of your shoulder. The arms that are made to be extended length are good for using a handheld rig infront of your chest and not using an EVF. This Easyrig gives you a lot of flexibilty as to which rigs you may want to use tor stabilization.

Q: 9. For Gimbal work, MoviPro, is a 5" extended arm or the 9" extended arm better? Currently shooting with a Canon C500 and want to be able to use both the Movi and without the Movi. Earlier this year I rented a friend's EasyRig 2.5 and had to push the Movi far out in front of my body, which made the EasyRig basically useless, the weight was in front of the arm.

A: For gimbal work, 9" arm extensions or 5" arm extensions with Flowcine Serene stabilizer would be optimal for distance from body. If you need to do double duty, then the 5" arm may be able to work for your needs without being at the extreme ends of the standard arm or 9".

Q: 10. How does this work with the BMPCC 4k? I would be near max load with the canon 70-200 lens, v-lock battery, and monitor.

A: This has a 4.4 to 15.4 lb Payload Range. Your set up will need to be between that range to work with this system.
