The 8Sinn Half Cage for Blackmagic Pocket 4K/6K Camerafrom 8Sinn Half Cage for Blackmagic Pocket 4K/6K Camerais a CNC-machined, anodized aluminum half cage with integrated accessory mounting holes specifically designed for the BMPCC 4K and BMPCC 6K. The half cage features mounting holes on the top and bottom that align with your camera's top and bottom 1/4"-20 mounting points, as well as two locating pins that help prevent the camera from twisting in the half cage. A built-in cold shoe as well as threaded 1/4"-20 mounting holes allow you to mount accessories without stressing your camera's body.

Access to all camera functions, as well as battery and media doors, is guaranteed as the half cage leaves the right side of the camera exposed. In addition to the 1/4"-20 mounting holes, a single 3/8"-16 threaded hole is included in the top of the half cage for additional accessory mounting, and multiple M4 threaded holes are tapped into the front of the top plate to enable mounting the 8Sinn Top Handle Basic (not included).

[0.78 lb] I ordered this cage and an SSD mount for a Pocket 6k. The cage offers a lot of mounting points and gives the camera's fan openings space to breath. It's a little tough to reach in the cage for cable connections, but not a problem. 5

[Aluminum] Solid build, intuitive design, and worth every penny. At first glance it seems a little expensive for a piece of machined metal. I put my BMD P4k in and was wowed by it having attachment points on both the top and bottom. You could realistically swing this around in circles with your arm at full strength and it would still feel solid. When I hold it from the top handle with a LUMIX 18-35 on the camera its well balanced. Between the IOS in the lens and the precision balance of the cage, handheld shooting is about as smooth as it gets. It also solves the problem of needing an extra QR plate to offset it for use on a gimbal (the camera doesnt fit on most of the popular single handle gimbals because of the wide form factor). I take the top handle off when I mount it on a Moza Air and it works great. This is definitely a piece of gear that is worth the seemingly steep price. I will not need another cage for this camera for the duration of its life. 5

[Cage] Debated for awhile between a full cage and a half cage for my bmpcc, really happy with the small rig half cage. It has a built in rail which works great with my quick release side handle that houses my ssd. Really nice being able to just pop the handle on and off quickly when needed ( like when getting it in and out of my case ) has plenty of room for swapping other accessories in and out like monitors etc. and it being a half cage, it doesnt get in the way of the cameras grip on the right hand side. I feel like if I had the full cage, I would be tempted to over load the camera with stuff and just get in my own way haha 5

[0.78 lb] I have a full small rig system for my 6k and it is amazing. And when I say full.....both handles....ssd holder....cable holder....ball mounts etc....it all works flawlessly to the point that now i only buy small rig gear for my cameras. 5

[Aluminum] This cage fits the 907x surprisingly well. As much as I love the Hasselblad 907x, there's a few things that drive me nuts about it. One is the lack of a hot shoe. While this cage doesn't solve that issue, it does allow me to mount a cold shoe, so I can connect a trigger to the flash out port on the Hasselblad. Not a perfect solution, but one that I can definitely live with since I rarely use flash in the first place. 5
