Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this product come with a copy stand platform?

A: No. Sold separately please review the following item Smith-Victor 42" Pro-Duty Copy Stand B&H # SM42PDCS MFR # 402181 https://bhpho.to/2DkxnXT

Q: 2. Will this push-on cap fit my Minolta MD Rokkor-x 50 mm 1.7?

A: A 50mm lens does not typically refer to the filter threads and or lens diameter. This lens happens to take a 49mm filter but that is the inner diameter of the lens. Your lens is probably anywhere from 51-54mm. Most people buy 2 or 3 different sizes and return the ones that don't fit.

Q: 3. Does this product come with the lighting clamps?

A: Yes, the clamps to hold the LED RB 5070 DX2 Lighting Units to the base board of a Kaiser copy stand are included.

Q: 4. would this timer work with a besseler 23c III enlarger?

A: The Kaiser Electronic Exposure Timer is compatible with the Beseler 23CIII enlarger.

Q: 5. I know the specs show this usable on a lens up to 200 mm, but wonder if it would work on a 100-400 lens?

A: Yes, this Kaiser 77mm 3-in-1 Rubber Hood can work on a 100-400mm lens below it's maximum focal length.

Q: 6. Is this for one light, or for a pair of lights?

A: The pair.

Q: 7. Is this for a grounded 3 prong enlarger plug?

A: The Kaiser Electronic Exposure Timer is an enlarger timer. It does have a socket for a grounded three prong enlarger plug.

Q: 8. Will this hood fit on my Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC Macro HSM Lens f/Sony?

A: I have a 18-200 mm Nikkor zoom lens (72 mm diameter) on which this hood fits fine (as far as attaching to the lens). It should also fit your lens. The hood folds in for the wider angle zoom. However, there is definite corner shadowing at the widest angles. So depending on how often you shoot wide, it may become a hindrance. My wide angle extends to 76 degrees while your Sigma extends to 79 degrees. Therefore, it is likely to have even more corner shadowing. Beyond the wide angle, however, the hood works fine. In my case, I only need to zoom in a bit to remove the corner shadows. However, there have been times when I took off the hood when the corner shadows were annoying (and I didn't have any sun reflection issues).

Q: 9. will this lens cap fit a canon g5x mark II?

A: No, the Kaiser 54mm did not fit the G5X Mk II. However, I tested the 56mm and it fit well! https://bhpho.to/3KMfJNL

Q: 10. Can this timer do tenths of seconds? (example: 1.5 seconds)

A: Yes, the Kaiser Electronic Exposure Timer can time in 10ths of a second. It can, Time range: 0.1 99 seconds, Display: 0.1 - 9.9 seconds in 10th second increments and 10-99 seconds in full second increments.

[19.9 x 14.2"] Solidly built of plastic, with a high quality glass lens, this is nearly perfect as a focus aid for my camera in live view. All I had to do was put some black tape on the clear skirt.
Quality of the glass lens is very high. I don't see color fringing or any other aberrations during use, regardless of diopter setting.

The diopter adjustment involves rotating the outside of the lens counterclockwise (the knurled part) and this moves the lens up. Movement is very smooth. Total movement is almost 1cm (about 3/8). With it all the way down (as shown in the sales picture) I can use it on the camera with and without my glasses.
The bottom of the skirt is finished smooth so it will not scratch my LCD screen. The knurled part prevents the lens from hitting a flat surface, if I happen to place it on a table upside down. Overall, great design I think!

[24 VDC at 2.5 A] This is a great loupe. It is completely plastic, but provides excellent clarity. When rested down, image may not be in exact focus. But raise it a tiny bit, and image comes into perfect focus, especially in the dead center. It is very small and light, and the box says it is made in Spain. I got it on a daily deal, and it was a very good deal. It comes in very handy in looking at tiny things close up (jewelry making, tiny etchings, coins, insects, etc.)

[24 VDC at 2.5 A] This copy stand is very well made. The column and platform are solidly mated. The traveling stage moves smoothly and stays put under the (admittedly modest) weight of my EOS RP and its L-Bracket.

The only thing this lacks is the ability to put the hand crank on the other side of the column, but it may be that all copy stands lack this, so I won't hold it against Kaiser!

[41.5 lb] I already had a quality copy stand to work from. When coupled with the Kaiser Slimline Plano LED flat panel, the Kaiser FilmCopy Vario works just as billed. The negatives are supported flat and the slides are easy to change out. I've used other methods for copying slides and negatives and this is the best I've used. Moving from one slide or negative to the next is as fast as it can be. Quality of the copy now just depends on my lens, camera, supporting stand, and technique. My only negative comment is that it is a little pricey.

[24 VDC at 2.5 A] I was longing to have one but did not know where to find it. There were many online stores, but which brand is the best without B&H provided. I hope Kaiser 8x Base Magnifier Loupe is the best every household should have, especially for those who interested to observe anything detail.

[41.5 lb] I am using a Sony RX-10 with this copy stand and really like it. The crank to move it up and down is stiff enough to stay put but loose enough to easily move the camera. The only thing I had a little trouble with (and have since gotten better at it) was attaching the camera. The screw is fairly short and you have to line it up just right to attach.
