The Bescor DRE6K LPE6 Coupler AC Power Supply Kitfrom Bescor DRE6K LPE6 Coupler AC Power Supply Kitreplaces the original battery with a dummy battery inside cameras that use the LPE6 battery. [0.535 lb] I haven't tested it extensively, but it works great so far. The cable length is good, you can have the camera on a 75 tripod and it's long enough for the power supply to rest on the floor. The price is right, too. Maybe the Canon slides in more smoothly but this does the job perfectly well. I've read some people have problems with more modern cameras/firmwares but for the 5D2 you can't go wrong with it. 5

Though B&H is not local to me I am always happy to support a great business! The adapter has been used for three full day video shoots, and it has been absolutely fantastic! In short it works. 5

[0.535 lb] I bought a similar AC power supply from Amazon for my Canon 90D for cheaper, and it didn't even turn on or work. Went to B&H and spent the extra few dollars to get this one, and it worked perfectly with no issues. Go for this one rather than wasting your time with Amazon! Thanks B&H for helping with everything. 5
