A: I have the same problem, and have not been able to use my printer because of it! It is so frustrating, because I know the printer works fine, except for getting the wrong message. I called Brother Techs and spent a huge amount of time trying to find someone who could fix that message. I brought it to the Geek Squad ant was told most folks just buy a new printer when theirs breaks ...but it isn't really broken! I hope you find out how to correct this from someone, and I am so sorry it can't be me...

A: CLI-251 would have an estimated 7ML of ink

A: It is considered water-resistant, but it is not recommended to drop water on the image.

Q: 8. What is ml. difference between CLI-251 AND CLI-251XL?

A: The difference is the amount of ink in the cartridge. Canon estimates that when printing a standard A4 document you will get about 298 pages with CLI-251 M and about 660 pages with CLI-251 M XL.

[Laser Printers] I decided not to play Russian Roulette with aftermarket toner cartridges but to go ahead and pay the extra money for OEM Canon cartridges. The drum and toner are a single unit and can be replaced in just a few seconds. The printed pages look great with no smudges, streaks, or blemishes even when printing on 75# cardstock. It's also good that my printer warranty is not compromised by using inferior cartridges. 5

[Laser Printers] Canon cartridges are much more expensive than the other brand cartridges, of course. I considered them carefully, calculating exactly how many dollars I'd save by taking the risky route. Some reviews were glowing, but there were those several that reported inconsistent performance and minor to catastrophic toner leaks. A printer whose insides were covered in toner--it might not happen, but it certainly might, a nightmare situation resulting from my attempt to save some money. The Canon cartridges work perfectly, never leak, produce beautiful, consistent prints, and are very simply worry-free. I already got so much to worry about, I decided that possible off-brand cartridge problems weren't worth the psychic energy I'd have to pony up. I purchased the Canon cartridges and kept printing without a hitch or milli-second of doubt. No regrets. 5

[1.665 lb] I haven't had a chance to use the toner cartridge yet because JUST NOW hooked up the printer. I know the starter toner already in printer has done an excellent job in printing - black & white & in color. Thank You. BB 5
