Using a suspension line to support a camera rig weighing 22 to 55 lb, this system takes the load off your shoulders, neck, and arm muscles and distributes it across your torso. This lets you shoot for longer periods of time without worrying about arm fatigue. The system consists of a Small Cinema Flex vest, a Vario 5 Strong shock absorber, and a 5" extended top bar. Also included is a carrying bag for convenient storage and transport of the Easyrig system.

Q: 3. Can this screw into the fx6 audio handle without damaging it in the long term? fx6's have 1/4-20 UNC screws (length of 6 mm or less)

A: Yes, you will be able to attach the ring to the top handle of the Sony FX6 without any problems.

Q: 4. Can attach this with flycam basic flowline hook?

A: Unfortunately, there is no direct compatibility between the 16x9 Kong Quick Release Adapter for Easyrig and the Flycam Basic flowline hook.

Q: 5. I bought this one with 1/4 20, where can I now separately buy 3/8 eyebolt?

A: We don't sell the eyebolt by itself. Consider using a Oben 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 Reducer Bushing (B&H # OB1039 MFR # OB-1039) to adapt your 3/8"-16 threaded accessory to work with the eyebolt that you have.

Q: 6. Can this support and function with the FX9 camera?

Q: 7. Any Ergo rig users, can this work with the Ergo Rig in undersling mode?

A: There are no reports of the 16x9 Kong Quick Release Adapter for Easyrig with 1/4"-20 Eyebolt being used in the manner you described. Because of the specialized design of both the Ergorig and the Easyrig, we recommend not attempting such use.

Q: 8. Would an fx3 be too light for this?

A: Yes, this Easyrig has a 4.4 to 15.4 lb Payload Range and the FX3 is only ~1.6 lb, so we would definitely recommend adding weight to your FX3 set-up to hit the 4.4 lb minimum payload, maybe with an external monitor and/or v-mount battery.

Q: 9. Is it possible to just buy the eyebolt?

A: While 16x9 does have it available separately, we do not currently list the 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 eyebolts separately on our website. Sorry for the inconvenience! I will pass this information on to our team to have them consider adding it to our list of products!

Q: 10. Would this unit support a Ux 180?

A: Yes, the Panasonic UX-180 camcorder would and could be supported when using Easyrig Minimax. The Easyrig Minimax has a 4.4 to 15.4 lb Payload Range.

[22.155 lb] Unless you're doing gimbal work, this is the best EasyRig for most setups. The Vario gives the user the ability to adjust tension for a wide range of camera sizes and weights. The gimbal vest is great for waist support, much preferred over the original vest in my opinion. The 5 arm is the perfect size to get the camera off your shoulder but not be obtrusive in your environment. Only wish I bought this sooner. 5

[22.155 lb] I used to hardly use my Easyrig Minimax because I couldn't get smooth motion walking with it attached to my RS3 Pro and Tilta Ring. This definitely is a game changer and will be using it way more often, makes it very smooth and I get to save my back. 5

[22.155 lb] I rented and used different version of the Easy Rig and I Think this has to be one of the better builds. It allows me to go all day handheld without the stress on my back or arms. I've done gigs all handheld without a rig and now with a rig. I have to say that I will never go back to without a rig. This support system is putting years back onto my career. It's pricey, but then what not expensive in our business. Solid build, sturdy, and well crafted. There are other rigs that are out there that less expensive. I know. I've used them. They pale in comparison to this one. So, do yourself a favor and buy once and don't settle for a cheap imitation. 5
