Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this work with the BMPCC 4k Camera with the full Tilta Cage?

A: Yes

Q: 2. do the Easyrigs come with proper easyrig bags or do those need to be purchased separately?

A: The Easyrig Vario 5 with STABIL G3 & Gimbal Rig Vest with EASYLOCK comes with the included ACE bag. It will hold vest, upper support bar, and power pack. ACE BAG: https://bit.ly/3W7hL22

Q: 3. Can this plate prevent camera twist in Front heavy Setup? ( like Canon R6 + RF 28- 70 on DJI RS2 ) OR Getting camera cage is the only option?

A: The Tilta Extended Quick Release Baseplate for Select DJI Gimbals is designed to attach to cages.

Q: 4. Is there a corresponding receiver plate that would allow for mounting on a tripod?

A: No, there is currently no available option for mounting this on a tripod.

Q: 5. Does this extend far enough for the BMPCC6K Pro with cage?

A: Typically, you should avoid added weight with a camera cage on the gimbal as it can wear out the motors and/or throw off balance. That being said, the Tilta Extended Quick Release Baseplate for Select DJI Gimbals will sit at the bottom of the Tilta Full Camera Cage for BMPCC 6K Pro/G2/BMPCC 6K (B&H # TITAT11FCCB) while a small portion of the extended baseplate protrudes forward.

Q: 6. Can I use this with the FLYCAM Flowline 300N? Can you purchase a second Eyebolt?

A: There should be no issues attaching this to the Flowcine 300.

Q: 7. Does this work with 3rd party eyebolts?

A: As long as the eyebolt isn't larger than the receiver of the 16x9 Kong Quick Release Adapter for Easyrig with 3/8"-16 Eyebolt, you will be able to use it.

Q: 8. Can this be used on the Easy Rig MiniMax?

A: It is our understanding that the 16x9 Kong Quick Release Adapter for Easyrig with 3/8"-16 Eyebolt can be used with any Easyrig.

Q: 9. I would like to use both the 1/4-20 and the 3/8" mounting screws with the smallrig d850 #2129 cage Is that possible?

A: We feel that it should work.

Q: 10. I bought this one with 1/4 20, where can I now separately buy 3/8 eyebolt?

A: We don't sell the eyebolt by itself. Consider using a Oben 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 Reducer Bushing (B&H # OB1039 MFR # OB-1039) to adapt your 3/8"-16 threaded accessory to work with the eyebolt that you have.

[23.865 lb] After years of renting Easy Rigs, dealing w/ the uneasy feeling knowing that other people probably sweat in them as much as I do and not knowing how good the rental houses clean these things, I finally got around to investing in one of these. Perfect for low mode where it can hold the camera weight chest height or lower, or static shoulder shots to give the shoulder a break. I've used this countless times over the years and finally got one. Should have done it sooner. Now I gotta save up for the Stabil arm

[23.865 lb] Game changer upgrade over the hook system the easyrig come with. I thought it would just be a connivence but it actually gives you more stability as the ball absorbs some of the small movements from moves.

[23.865 lb] These work great and were not too hard to install on my minimax (after watching a couple YouTube video). It works great with my fx3 as a little handheld run-and-gun setup. I have also screwed one into the base of a 70-200 lens for a tight hand-held style bcam. If I ever have a gimbal shoot in the rain, I’m looking forward to screwing a ball head into the bottom of my dji rs2 and attaching my easy rig umbrella :)

[23.865 lb] This is the best option for easyrig quick release systems. It's super low profile unlike some of the other options out there like the Kong.
No need to worry about the hook sliding off your top handle either

[23.865 lb] Have used now on four shoots, two all-day hand held, two Movi. At 45, I have back pain on almost any shoot where I have to go handheld for over 15 minutes with my large camera package. I had tried other rigs for the Movi, but never fully evading the 'end of the day discomfort' that was sure to show up. This package changed all of that. Of all the gear I've bought over the years, this has to be my best purchase.

The impact was immediate... walked away from two 14 hour days with zero pain or stiffness. Next shoot, Stabil arm worked so well with my Movi walk-and-talk, again.. no back pain.

The quality and build of this rig is top notch. Nothing overlooked, no expense spared with build quality. And to top it off... takes seconds to 'rig up' with the help of the easy lock waist belt. If I was hot, I'd easily take it off between setups. I could rig-up as late as talent walking to set which is something I could never do before with the movi and other setups.

Bottom line, this rig is an investment in your future as a DP if you suffer from any kind of back pain. Wish I had purchased 10 years ago.

[23.865 lb] This is great for a cinema style camera build. I fly a Arri Amira with zoom lenses, FIZ and teradek, so something in the 25lb range. This system allows for me to go hand held all day with minimal effort. I'm a large guy, 220lbs and 6' tall, and the cinema 3 vest fits me just fine with plenty of room for larger guys. These things are built like tanks, you can zip tie the bag shut and check it on airlines no problem.

Easyrigs are basically career extenders that save your back.

[23.865 lb] Unless you're doing gimbal work, this is the best EasyRig for most setups.

The Vario gives the user the ability to adjust tension for a wide range of camera sizes and weights. The gimbal vest is great for waist support, much preferred over the original vest in my opinion. The 5 arm is the perfect size to get the camera off your shoulder but not be obtrusive in your environment.

Only wish I bought this sooner.

[23.865 lb] My Easyrig came with the clip and I wanted a quick release that was easier for a handheld set up. It took me less than 10 minutes in total to install, including reading the manual. Tested it on a shoot and I'm happy to report the camera did not fall. I like that it came with 4 attachment screws.
