Protect the LCD screen on your Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K from glare with this Tilta Full Sun Hood. The hood is made from black nylon and attaches to the Half Sun Hood for BMPCC 4K via the included hook-and-loop fabric. This extends the protection from glare and provides a better viewing environment, giving you greater sunshade coverage. Access to the camera's touchscreen is via a compartment on the bottom of the sun hood.

A: This hasn't been tested by us since we have our own rig that we design products for but I would think that it is not compatible because the sunhood is mounted onto a specifically placed screw hole that is within the cold shoe mount that is on the top of the Tiltaing rig.

Q: 8. how long does the Ronin S battery last while using this Set up for pocket 6k?

A: The Ronin-S has a battery rated at 34 Wh. The battery the Ronin-S normally used is 12-14 Wh. You will get near 3 times the battery time. However the Ronin-S itself will be draining the battery, but at a much slower pace.

Q: 9. Is that grey sticky pad a heat sync?

A: The Tilta SSD Case also features a built-in fan to help keep your SSD from overheating when recording for extended periods of time or when using higher data rates.

Q: 10. Could this power the Red Komodo?

A: It should work according to published specs, but we have not tested this particular combination.

[0.285 lb] This camera cage for the BMPCC 4k is fantastic! I've added everything from an Atomos Ninja V monitor to the top handle feeling secure that the handles release pin will keep it secure. I then purchased an additional Tilta Handle that houses a battery and a right hand handle that hits the rig as well. On top I have secured my ssd with ease and look forward to adding a Hollyland in the near future. Which currently the cage can handle as well. 5

[0.285 lb] I ordered this to go with my Tilta full cage for my BMPCC6K. the design and build quality are great. I really like that you can mount a Samsung SSD to the top of it (with Tilta SSD Mount). The hood definitely helps see the very dim BMPCC screen better. 5

[8.3 x 6.05 x 1"] My BMPCC4K previously had a Smallrig cage which worked very well. Smallrig manufactures very good products. But when I saw B&H advertise the Tilta cage on sale for a great price, I couldn't resist so I made the purchase. If I had to compare the Tilta cage with the Smallrig cage, I would respectfully say that Tilta has better cable wrangling with all other things being equal. I am satisfied with this purchase. 5

[0.285 lb] This is the first review I’ve written and I decided to write it for this particular item. I own a BMPCC4K and do a lot of run and gun filming. Much of that filming take place outside. I’ve always used and external monitor but that can be bulky at times when I want a low profile. But man oh man the BMPCC4K screen is useless outside. It will reflect and it makes it hard to just focus and exposure. I saw this item and decided to give it a shot. It came in the mail, I opened it and placed it on my Tilta Cage. And it was like some kind of magic when I stepped outside to test it out. This thing is amazing! It blocked out pretty much all the sunlight while using it at high noon! Assembly was pretty much sticking it onto the TILTA Sunhood and voilà! It’s easy to put on and take off when necessary. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to use the BMPCC4K screen outdoors. 5
