The Tilta 114mm Lens Ring for MB-T04 MB-T06mounts directly onto the matte box and enables a snug fit for your lens, preventing light from leaking around the back of the lens and flaring any filters in the matte box. This ring is not suitable for use as a clamp-on ring.

A: No, the Tilta 80mm Clamp-On Adapter for MB-T12 Matte Box will not fit 82mm lenses.

A: Hello,Both sides are indeed elastic. Also, it bears noting that the side that attaches to the matte box has a much wider opening than the side that covers the lens.

Q: 7. With fabric on both sides, wouldn't this be able to fit on the MB12 Tilta matte box? I need to cover 5mm gap from 95mm-90.

A: The reason the Tilta TSP-023 (Nun's Knickers) work on the MB-T03 and MB-T05 matte box is because those matte boxes have a lip that catches the elastic band. The Tilta MB-T12 does not have this lip. Therefore, there is not an effective way to attach it to the matte box.

Q: 8. Will this work with TITLA MB T-12?

A: It will not. According to Tilta the MB-T12 is a clamp on matte box that does not support fabric donuts.

Q: 9. Does the grip require two batteries to work or will it work just fine with only one battery in it?

A: Yes, the Nikon MB-N12 Power Battery Pack can still supply power even when one of the batteries is removed as long as the other battery has power.

Q: 10. What's the distance between the attatchment slots? I want to see if this will fit on an Arri MMB2. The Arri top flag is too wide.

A: This is a top flag for a Tilta MB-T12 Matte Box only. We are not aware of it being able to work with any other Matte Box brands.

[114 mm] Comes with almost everything you need. I wish it came with a 19mm rod support too. I wish matte boxes came with a slot to add filter tags instead of sticking velcro on it. 5

[Aluminum] Slightly on the heavier side (as far as smaller matte boxes go). But, great build quality and comes with everything needed. Also, nice that it's a 3-stage. 5

[0.09 lb] I love everything about this matte box. Feels more rigid and sturdy than the Arri clip-on, and comes with the added bonus of having the capability to attach to 15mm rods, if necessary. Hard mattes are also quite rigid, and snap tightly into place. Thrilled with this piece of equipment. 5

[0.09 lb] I was taking a look at which MB to buy after renting time and again and almost went with the bright tangerine, but for what I was doing didn't require the weight saving and extra expense. This does feel really well made and the 'free' / included mounting options are just the icing on the cake. In the attached picture I have the ARRI Rota Pola, followed by a straight Polarizer to create a VND and a Promist in front. Would highly recommend buying this piece of kit. 5
