It is designed to support focusing to infinity and is constructed from brass and aluminum alloy along with a brass mounting ring to provide a durable, yet lightweight camera-to-lens connection.

The Vizelex Cine ND Throttle Lens Mount Adapter includes a built-in variable neutral density filter with an integrated control ring. The variable neutral density filter provides an exposure reduction of 2 to 8 stops so that adjustments to brightness can be made independently of the camera and lens, which enables more flexible exposure and depth-of-field control while recording video within a designated frame rate.

A: The ND ring would need to be set at the Minimum marking.

Q: 5. Is this supposed to work with Nikkor AI-S lenses? I have been using it with my Nikkor F AI-S 55mm 1.2 lens, and it mounts just fine, but I cannot control aperture at all. Wondering if I have a defective copy, or it's just not compatible with AI-S lenses for aperture control?

A: It is compatible with that lens, but you need to set the aperture directly on the aperture ring on the lens. You won't be able to change aperture on the adapter.

A: This adapter lacks a rubber seal around the RF mount.

[0.45 lb] When I upgraded from an a6000 to an a7rii my existing FD-NEX adapter was too tight to fit to the a7rii (another B&H purchase, used). This Fotodiox adapter fits perfectly and infinity zoom works on all three of my FD lenses (20mm, 50mm, 135mm). 5

[0.45 lb] I just received this adapter. Fit is excellent on camera and lens. Mounted my 75-300mm AF Nikkor and took some fun shots while waiting to get the kit outdoors. ND filter is very smooth. Definitely recommend this adapter. 5

[Sony E] This a great product that works as it should and allows me to use the apertures, a nice change from the cheaper mounts. It's a cheaper alternative to purchasing new lenses for my Sony a7rii, maybe not a replacement for E-mount lenses, but using my fd F1.4 50mm with it has so far yielded nice results. The one thing I will say is be sure to move the ring over from install to the aperture symbol. while fd lenses are fairly snug when mounted, I worry that the lens could fall out if not adjusted off of install. 5

[0.45 lb] For a person who hates the inconvenience and expenses of having to have all sorts of ND filters in different sizes this product is a Godsend. The filter is built into the adapter, and placed at the back, between the back lens element and the sensor. It works great! Besides providing the ability the throttle ND gives you to shoot at the aperture of your choice in bright sun light, the filter provides the added benefit of protecting the sensor when you change lenses. So, no more worries about buying all those ND filters in different lens sizes. The throttle ND adapter works for all your lenses of that mount type. Highly recommended. 5

[0.45 lb] Canon legacy glass is everywhere and is so very affordable; this adapter allows me to take advantage of the magic of adapted lenses on my E-Mount Sony full-frame camera. The camera in question came from B&Hs used department, in 9 condition and is a huge value for the asking price...! 5
