This 3 x 3" LEE Filters 85B Amber & ND Filter 3x3" 2-Stopcombines an 85B with a 2-stop neutral density filter. Using tungsten film in daylight will produce a bluish cast in the photograph. The 85 series will produce natural colors when shooting with tungsten film outdoors. A #85 filter will decrease the color temperature from 5500K to 3400K and produce slightly cooler results than an 85B.

Q: 1. Will this filter fit inside a standard mattebox 4x4 tray? We use the Genus Matte Box Lite and use Tiffin 4x4 filters without a problem, however the Tiffin 1,8 ND is twice the price of the Lee filter.The Lee filter has foam around the sides and is thinner than the Tiffin which is 4mm thick... so not sure it was meant for use in a matte box like the Genus. A: It will fit but be a somewhat tight fit because of the foam on the filter.

Cokin P square filters are 84 x 84mm in size, and their rectangular filters are 84 x 100mm in size. I cannot guarantee the extra 1mm width of the LEE Filters 85 x 85mm Little Stopper 1.8 Neutral Density Filter would work in the Cokin P Filter Holder.

A: No this is only a neutral density filter, you would need an IR or an IR Cut filter.

Q: 6. Would these filters fit the Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 lens?

A: The specs for this lens, as listed at B&H, show a 77mm front thread. Get a Lee, or similar, 4x4 or 100x100mm filter holder and a 77mm wide angle adapter and it should physically fit. With this wide of a lens, I don't know how much vignetting you will get.

A: Both the CPL and the VND involve rotating part of the filter and usually, these filters do not have front filter threads, making it impossible to mount another filter.

A: Use the Lee Filter system. Use the 100mm width size and get the appropriate adaptor for you're lens. Then the little stopper and big stopper are awesome filters.
