The cartridges also have a Use by date so you may have passed this date up; however, I don't think this is the problem. Good luck.

Unless you're frequently doing very large prints, the shelf life of the cartridge will be exceeded before you run out of ink. I've been very impressed with the number of prints possible with a set of cartridges, although I did have to replace the black cartridge earlier.
