[44 lb / 20 kg] I was very impressed with this wheel stand when I was putting it together. And more impressed after I put it together. It is very solid, even with the wheels on it.

[52.35 lb] I purchase this after getting the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0, #NEWHLSTND2, and buying the seat was inevitable. Assembly and instructions are extremely easy to follow and I also didn't have to fight with it to get all the pieces together.


I can see this seat being a bit small or uncomfortable for people over 6'2. I am not that tall and it fits me perfectly, despite the name. Also the seat is firm and very comfortable even after long sessions. The only bad thing is that the shifter/handbrake plate can be a bit loose and there is no tool included to tight the nuts but if you have a 10mm wrench available then there is no issue.


Also This thing is heavy duty and weighs A LOT, I highly recommend getting the casters for it, #NENLRA007, because it can and will hurt you when moving after fully built and attached to the Wheel Stand.

[44 lb / 20 kg] This stand is amazing. I’m so glad I made the choice to spend a little more for a Direct Drive wheel stand. It comes with everything you need ( all predrilled) to mount your wheel/pedals, shifter and handbrake. No flex what so ever!! Easily adjustable, although you will have to loosen, and tighten the nuts and bolts to make adjustments, but honestly it’s worth it for the stability this stand brings.. everything you need is included. Instructions are easy to read!! And as always doing business with B&H you product will arrive promptly.. I received mine within a week.. I definitely recommend this stand.. I’m only using the Thrustmaster TS-XW which put out around 6 Newton meters of force. It’s good to know that when I do upgrade it can handle whatever I throw at it.. the finish is a flat black.. very nice!!! So pleased with this stand!! Way to go Next Level Racing!!!

After upgrading to a DD wheel, this GT Seat Add-On was the next logical step. WOW, what a difference it makes! So much better than using a chair with the stand! Having the DD wheel, the vibrations are now transmitted through the whole chassis, and you can feel everything, giving a much higher level of immersion.

Also, I’m 6’4” tall, and about 255 lbs., and this fits me really well. After assembly, all I needed to do was adjust the wheel height and position a bit, and I was off to the races! The seat is comfortable, and well-suited for long racing sessions. There’s plenty of adjustment in the seat, both fore/aft, and reclining it to the angle that works best for you.

The quality of construction is top-shelf, and the final assembled product is very solid. This will be the last sim stand and seat I’ll ever need.

I would also highly recommend adding casters to the whole thing. Not only will they help you move the sim around when needed, but will lift it off the floor a few inches too, which some have mentioned in other reviews. You can either get the NLR ones, or there are others on amazon too. Just make sure the stem size specifies it’s M8, as nothing else will fit.
