Q: 2. Does this work with the Kase Revolution lenses or is there a special step up ring for Revolution?

A: The Kase Magnetic Step-Up Ring for Wolverine Magnetic Filters (67 to 82mm) will allow you to use the Kase 82mm KW Revolution Magnetic ND1000 Filter (10-Stop) on a lens with 67mm filter threads.

Q: 3. Will my Tamron 70-200 G2 lens hood still attach with this in place? Thanks!

A: Your lens hood would fit on the bayonet mount found on the end of the lens barrel, so you can still use this adapter ring.

Q: 4. I have both 55 mm and 67 mm lenses. I would like to be able to use 67 mm filter on 55 mm lens?

A: The Freewell 55mm Step-Up Adapter Ring for V2 Magnetic Filters allows you to put filters larger then 55mm on a 55mm lens.

Q: 5. Is there any way i can use these adapters to use my non magnetic 105mm filters

A: Yes, the Kase Magnetic Step-Up Ring for Wolverine Magnetic Filters (67 to 77mm) is compatible with the Revolution line of filters

Q: 7. What is the difference between the kit and just the step-up ring? I see that both options are for sale

A: The Kase Wolverine Revolution Magnetic Step-Up Ring Kit (67-77mm) comes with inlaid rings which allow the filter to be closer to the lens and allow for an unthreaded magnetic filter to snap on the ring. The Kase Wolverine Revolution Magnetic Step-Up Ring (67-77mm) is just the step-up ring.

Q: 8. Is it necessary to buy this magnetic ring or can you just use a standard threaded step up ring and then thread a normal 82mm Kase magnetic ring to that?

A: It is recommended to use as few adapters as possible in order to keep the filter closer to the lens to avoid vignetting. While an aluminum step up ring and then an 82mm magnetic adapter will fit, it is not recommended.

Q: 9. Will this work on a Canon XF400 camcorder???

A: The efficacy of this lens accessory on sensors smaller than ASP-C has not been listed and is therefore doubtful.

Q: 10. Does this step up ring also work with the Kase Skyeye magnetic filters? I don't see one specifically for the Skyeye lineup.

A: Yes, the Kase Wolverine Step-up rings works with their Skyeye Professional magnetic ND filters as well.

[0.04 lb] I really like not having to buy additional polarizing and ND filters. Works seamlessly.

[5 mm] I've got a couple of small prime lenses that are great for shooting video. So, with a couple of inexpensive step-up rings, I can use my 67mm polarizer and variable neutral density filters to shoot wide open in sunshine.

[0.04 lb] I use it on my nifty fifty and my ef-s 24mm. I put a 67mm ND fader on it. You can really touch the quality. It's not a cheap metal ring. It has texture. So, it is easier to put screw in and out. Note that the smallish focus ring of the 50mm 1.8 II is hard to handle with the ring on. Autofocus will be your only solution for certain situations. That problem will not occur for other lenses (or the newest 50mm 1.8) where the focus ring is not on the very end of the lens.

[Side, Top] This is just a great step-up ring. It is very thin and well constructed, so you won't see any vignetting. Totally recommended.
