[Pentax] I'll be honest, I was a little gun shy in ordering thisafter reading a couple reviews but since it was a Father'sDay gift I figured I would try it. While it is not solidsteel construction, it is very usable for under 100.00 Thedistance I have the most success with is within 50 feetwhich is more than I need. I am not doing outdoor naturephotography so I dont know how it would respond. For theadvanced amateur or enthusiast like myself it is a neat toy.I will buy one for my Canon camera as well. Expertise: Advanced Enthusiast Problems Encountered: I have had interference with the unit when I tried to use itat a place that had a wifi network. I could only use itfrom about 6-8 feet effectively.

[Pentax] Works like a charm on my D300. Set up tripod on our deck and used the remote to trigger the D300 from inside the house to photograph some deer and hummingbirds in my yard for fun. For serious work like moon shots and other tripod work, it is super. No camera moment!

[Pentax] I bought this for my d700 specifically for long exposures beyond 30s. Just click and hold for 3 seconds to start the exposure and then click again to stop. Also great for family and group shots. Well made and compact. The dongle hangs down and the range is at least 50-100 feet or greater.

[Pentax] Has worked for me in every situation where I have used it. Great for photos where I want to be included in the shot, for studio and product shots and wildlife with tripod mounted camera. Much better than the Nikon ML-3 IR wireless remote that requires line of sight and the price is $160 less.

[Pentax] For close up photography and portraiture. Initial connection was a little bit cumbersome but my old MC30 has the same demeanor. I bought this to replace the MC30 which was misplaced during a recent trip. I was pleasantly surprised for its reliability and ease of setup. Now, I don't have to rush to get into the picture when using the self-timer.

[Pentax] I take a lot of landscape pictures and using the wirelss shutter release allows me to move away from the tripod to look at angles and possible other shots while waiting for events to change. The RSRT06P is easy to use and understand. Only negative I can find is connection sometimes comes loose when dangling from camera.

[Pentax] I was a little disappointed with the wireless shutter release options i had with my Nikon D300s, it seemed most needed to attach to the camera hotshoe & cost alot more than my previous infrared wireless remote. After reading the reviews on this product, I took a chance, ordered it & am so pleased with it. It works every time. Best part is that this remote works thru walls & has amazing reach, I am quite impressed! Looking forward to shooting with this remote for years to come. If you want a consistent remote that doesn't need to hook up to the camera hotshoe, then this remote is a no-brainer. I would buy this product again & again, plus you can't beat the price. [0.4 lb] Since purchasing my DSLR about a year ago, I have wanted to be able to set the camera up and walk away from it, allowing some truly candid shots. This unit will come in very handy for my son's wedding in Mexico this year. The wireless shutter performs just as promised and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be sending more business to B&H.
