[1.65 lb] This product is excellent for safe storage of the boom pole and also for easy transport. I find it easy to carry and lightweight, but still sturdy enough for me to feel safe that my equipment is stored properly. It is dependable and affordable, too. I want ten more just like it. 5

[Lockable latch] I've used this case for 2 years and it has really held up well. It holds my Sennheiser ME66 snug and protects it from damage. I can toss the case into a backpack or larger case and I know nothing will damage my mic. 5

[Handheld] I bought this item last week to use as a travel case for a Senheiser MKH-60p48 so I could utilize space in bags when going to shoots. The Alfa-case is a great case and will definitely protect your equipment however too big for what I was looking for. Also the tube was too long for the mic which made it difficult to easily pull the mic out. You had to dig for it. It wasn't right for me but anyone who needs a heavy duty travel case that has a strong constructed feel and internal protection for a mic that fits this is definitely worth purchasing. 5
