[Handheld] I've used this case for 2 years and it has really held up well. It holds my Sennheiser ME66 snug and protects it from damage. I can toss the case into a backpack or larger case and I know nothing will damage my mic. 5

[1.85 lb] This case is so much better than the flimsy wooden and plastic cases that come with these mics. My Schoeps came in a nice, wooden box, but is like a display case. It would fall apart in the field. This case is rugged. It has a foam insert that holds the mic in place and a thick, rubber O-ring on the top cover. Then, it uses a pro twist-draw latch, like an ATA-style shipping case. Now, I just throw my mic into a backpack or large Pelican case and don't worry about crushing it or damage from knocking into stuff. I have one for my Sennheiser 416 and one for my Schoeps CMC41 w/Cut1 filter attached. 5

[Handheld] I was pleased by the quality of the case when it arrived. It should last me for a long time. The interior foam insulation will definitely protect my shotgun mic. I wish these were less expensive because I'd buy a couple more... 5

[1.85 lb] I bought this item last week to use as a travel case for a Senheiser MKH-60p48 so I could utilize space in bags when going to shoots. The Alfa-case is a great case and will definitely protect your equipment however too big for what I was looking for. Also the tube was too long for the mic which made it difficult to easily pull the mic out. You had to dig for it. It wasn't right for me but anyone who needs a heavy duty travel case that has a strong constructed feel and internal protection for a mic that fits this is definitely worth purchasing. 5

[1.85 lb] Well built protective tube for your valuable shotguns. Seemed a little pricey, but worth it once I had it in hand. Fits MKH 415 fine... added a little extra foam to the end cap to really hold mic tight. 5
