The Odyssey Innovative Design FZGS1116W Flight Zone Glide Style Slanted Combo Rack Case (Black) is an ABS laminated 3/8" plywood case. It is designed to protect and transport 11 space rackmount gear, 16 space rackmount equipment and display a laptop computer. The case has steel hardware and chrome-plated butterfly latches. The case is transported by recessed, spring-loaded handles and built-in wheels. The case also has steel corners, aluminum edging and rubber feet. The case meets ATA 300 specifications for shipping cases.

Q: 3. Will a presonus 32sc fit in the 11u top space?

A: No, the PreSonus StudioLive 32SC Digital Mixer will not fit in the 11U top of the Odyssey FZ1116WDLX Flight Zone ATA DLX Combo Rack Case.

Q: 4. What is the is the length of the unit when the table is set up?

A: The width of the table is approximately 38.5 corner to corner (and depth is about 22) and 21.5 on the rack itself. When the table is set up for use, the overall length across is 60 .

Q: 5. Curious as to the width of the console once the lid is connected as a side mount table? If the exterior dimensions are (WxHxD) 21.5" x 44.75" x 28.5", I'm guessing the total width with table mounted would be 66.25". I just want to be sure!

A: It will actually be just a little less that 66.25" because the Height dimension includes the casters, which are 2", so overall width will be closer to 64".

Q: 6. How deep is this case?

A: 15/ 1/2 deep

Q: 7. What is the weight limit for the side tables?

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not publish a specification for the weight limitation of the side tables. I would suggest, given the nature of the product, and the type of equipment displayed with it while in use, a safe weight would be about 50-60 pounds per side.

Q: 8. Internal width?

A: The Odyssey FZGS1116WDLXBL ships with rpre installed rack rails designed to accommodate standard 19 rackable gear. Front rail to back cover depth is: 18 .

Q: 9. I have a pmp6000 mixer. will it fit on the slant top with no issues? the mixer dimensions are 23.5 x 19.5 x 4.8 inches

A: Thank you for your question. The PMP6000 will not fit as it is not a standard 19" rack mount unit.

Q: 10. Can you have access to all the jacks and ports on the back without removing the board from the bottom lid?

A: Yes you can! There is about 3 of space to access all the ports in the back. The lid comes off and we leave it in the bottom an then plug everything in and away we go!

[Yes] We use this rack as a mobile rack at our church. It fits everything we need. The glide tray is not level and they only placed a stop for the glide tray on one side. Other than that it's perfect. 5

[Latch] This half rack case is perfect for my wireless mic and IEM set up. Everything is safe and ready to go. I added the Odyssey 3U rack drawer to the bottom of the unit for all of my accessories. I still had plenty of room to velcro a power strip on top of the drawer, and store the cables to hook into our system. The pouch storage on each door is open for extra stuff.....I could easily fit my iPad and / or my page turn pedal....just haven’t decided. I am looking forward to the easy set up and tear down at the next gig! I should have done this long ago!! 5

[Front, Rear] This is a really well-built rack with robust hardware. For essentially the same price as the plastic racks on the market today, this is the best choice for road worthiness and durability. I'm planning on replacing all of my plastic racks (Gator and SKB) because the butterfly latches tend to lose tension over time due to their reduced size. Also, the plastic racks tend to crack in the cold weather and the covers loosen up with a lot of use. This Odyssey rack is really durable, with an attractive black laminate over 3/8 plywood. All hardware is solidly riveted and the covers and latches are tight and work well. The full-size butterfly latches in recessed cups will last for decades, they also have built-in hasps for you to add your own locks for security. I think Hollywood popularized the plastic racks because they look sleek and modern, but this wood rack is also very attractive with the satin black laminate augmented with brushed chrome trim and chrome-plated hardware. Also, I personally think gear loaded in wood racks like this appears more professional looking than the plastic cases. The laminate on this rack holds paint well if you want to spay paint a stencil of your company logo, or rack contents, and dust cleans up quickly with any standard cleaner. This particular rack is a special order item with B&H. That's okay. I submitted my order with B&H and they had the rack drop shipped to me. I received it in about ten business days, no problems. I'm looking forward to replacing all of my cases with these old school Odyssey wood racks. No more plastic racks for me - what's old is new again. 5

[ABS Plywood] I got this product to house my new Denon MC-6000 along with a Denon BU-4500 Dual CD player. I already own the FZGS1004BL but needed something slightly smaller. The 1002BL delivers! It smaller yet heavier and better constructed. You have the option of running cables and wires out of the back through a round hole AND by opening a panel. It's great product that with proper care will last, and last, and last... 5
