Q: 5. can I use canon Ef lens on this to attach to canon eos?

Q: 6. It's a little tough to tell in the pictures. Is this ring threaded on the inside of the rim so that I could screw in a filter?

A: According to the manufacturer, the Urth Adapter Ring for Magnetic Lens Filters (52mm) have a magnetic front threading. They are designed to be used with magnetic filters of the same size. However, they do state that if you are looking to use a magnetic filter and a screw mount filter at the same time, you may certainly do so. You may stack magnetic filters and screw-on filters. All our filters are double-threaded, which means they have back and front threads so you can stack filters of the same thread size. Just make sure to put the screw on filter first, followed by the magnetic adapter ring (or the magnetic UV filter), and then the magnetic filter you want to use. However, stacking too many filters together can cause vignetting so we would not recommend stacking more than two filters together.

Q: 8. What’s the outer diameter of this ring?

Q: 10. Will this work with the R5/R6/R3. I have a Swarovski TLS APO 43mm, that connects to a STX 85 Swarovski?

[3 x 3 x 2"] I wouldn't normally resort to a step-down ring, as they almost always result in vignetting. However, I have three macro lenses (Nikon), two of which take 52mm filters, but one requires 62mm. Fortunately, at close-up distances the field-of-view narrows, so 52mm filters work just fine. The ring is nicely made and finished, a high-quality bargain.

[62 mm to 52 mm] I know step down rings are very simple pieces of metal. But I was relieved to see that they fit well on the lens And my filter fits well on the inside ring. (I have seen worse...)

[62 mm to 52 mm] I bought a new camera with a 55mm lens, and have 52mm diopters. The step down ring was the perfect solution so I did not have to spend $$ on a new macro lens. I did have to zoom in just a little so I could not see the ring, but it did not impact the photo quality.

[62 mm to 52 mm] Works great on my Nikon D750 with Nikon 28-300 lens (normal 77mm filter mount). Can use all my smaller 52mm filters. No vignetting as long as you use the DX in-camera crop option, found on the D750 menu. You should not use these filters in FX Full-Frame mode.
