Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this adapter for the Novoflexar rapid focus system lenses made for Novoflex since 60's till 90's?

A: No, this Novoflex Adapter for Novoflex A Mount to Canon EOS M Cameras was created much more recently in order to attach Sony Alpha DSLR A-mount lenses onto Canon EOS-M mirrorless cameras. Both have not been around as long as the 1960's through 1990's. They are much younger systems than that.

Q: 2. Can this function as a step down ring (114-82mm) on the front of the NiSi 114mm Shatter-Proof Protector Filter?

A: The Movcam 114:95mm Step-Down Ring for 114mm Threaded Matte Box is not compatible with the NiSi 114mm Shatter-Proof Protector Filter.

Q: 3. It's a little tough to tell in the pictures. Is this ring threaded on the inside of the rim so that I could screw in a filter?

A: According to the manufacturer, the Urth Adapter Ring for Magnetic Lens Filters (52mm) have a magnetic front threading. They are designed to be used with magnetic filters of the same size. However, they do state that if you are looking to use a magnetic filter and a screw mount filter at the same time, you may certainly do so. You may stack magnetic filters and screw-on filters. All our filters are double-threaded, which means they have back and front threads so you can stack filters of the same thread size. Just make sure to put the screw on filter first, followed by the magnetic adapter ring (or the magnetic UV filter), and then the magnetic filter you want to use. However, stacking too many filters together can cause vignetting so we would not recommend stacking more than two filters together.

Q: 4. What’s the outer diameter of this ring?

A: Our sources show that the diameter would be 77mm, but since the manufacturer does not explicitly provide this spec, we would recommend verifying with them before purchasing: https://bit.ly/2J8yZL7

Q: 5. I'm looking to fit my Nikkor 50mm 1.8 (52mm filter) to a Dot Line MB3 matte box (86mm threads). Will this adapter properly attach these items or is it specific to the Genustech models? Where can I find the adaptor I'm looking for?

A: So sorry man, I'm not familiar with the matte box you mentioned, and I've never tried to mix and match with different brands.

A: Yes, the Cokin P Series Filter Holder Adapter Ring (52mm) B&H # COARP52 is compatible with the Cokin Evo Aluminum P Series Filter Holder B&H # COCBPE01.

Q: 7. Will this work with the Chrosziel 805-02 Matte Box?

A: We're afraid not. This is compatible with the MB-450 Series Matte Box only.

Q: 8. will any of these fit on the polarpro base camp???

A: The Tilta 52mm Adapter Ring for Mini Clamp-On Matte Box is designed to be used with the Tilta Mini Clamp-On Matte Box only

Q: 9. Does this fit an 80mm clamp on or a 95mm clamp on matte box?

Q: 10. I have a 300-600mm Tamron lens and have a 77mm Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holder Adapter Ring. Is this what I could use on my 95mm lens?

A: You cannot. This product is specifically for Wide Angle Attachments. Using a 77mm filter system on a lens with a 95mm thread will be very difficult, there may be vignetting caused by using such a smaller system on a larger one and we do not recommend it.

[67 mm to 52 mm] Able to use my 55mm ND filter on the Batis 85mm which has a 67mm thread. Little to no vignetting surprisingly. Made of metal. Thin and a bit hard to grip if placed on tight but haven't had any problems. Big time money saver.

[67 mm to 52 mm] This step-down ring is high quality and in combination with the Sensei 52-48mm step-down ring lets me use 2 astronomical filters on my camera lens that have a 67mm filter thread. Gives me a new astronomical imaging solution.

[67 mm to 52 mm] I bought this to be able to adapt the Nikon ES-1 Slide adapter to my lens. The adapter is very well made. Solid. It does not feel cheap and I think it's a good value for the money. Five stars!

[67 mm to 52 mm] Exceptional quality and so inexpensive. I have several of these in various sizes as well as the standard versions (without knurled sides). I highly recommend with the knurled sides as sometimes the standard ones can become difficult to remove if you accidentally screw them on too tight, it happens. Either way, I highly recommend these rings. Can't beat the quality for the price.
