A: This is designed to go on top of a C200 directly. You may be able to put it on top of other SmallRig cages, but how well it will fit or line up is not something know the results of. It would not be recommended.

It's not only a better place to have it (lower and forward) than the factory place, but the hex screw on the factory plate is such a nightmare. Only took me twice of loosening it and tightening it for it to strip, and now I can't loosen it any more. If I was you, I would order this Zacuto top plate at the same time you order the camera and replace it immediately before you, like me, strip the factory screw. 5

This plate lets you put two screws on MAP1 and MAP2, unlike the original Movi Plate. The two screws in the product picture are misleading, but it is just screw holder and not attached to the actual plate. The plate itself is straight shape just like the original Movi top plate. 5

I'm able to attach a locking Arri-style top handle and use 15mm rod components above the lens. Other companies would do well to implement top 15mm rods. This plate allows for unparalleled modularity. It's very sturdy and I can trust it with a lot of weight. 5
