A: Based off the weight of the camera and the lens, this tripod would support both of them.

A: The plate is the piece you attach to the camera. You place the plate into the jaws of the clamp on top of this head. You attach the head to the monopod and you are in business. You need a plate. This s OEM but back ordered: Desmond DS-1 Bi-Directional Arca-Type QR Plate B&H # DEDS1. Here is one that is in stock that will fit. Oben QR-10 Quick Release Plate B&H # OBQR10

Q: 5. What is the difference between clamps and plates? Are both a clamp and a plate needed to attach heads to tripods and monopods?

A: A clamp is the vice-like portion of the head that is adjustable and can be tightened or loosened in order to hold an arca-swiss type plate. The plate attaches to the bottom of the camera and then to the top of this head via the clamp. Once the clamp is tightened onto the plate, the camera is securely attached to the head.

A: Yes on pretty much any monopod

Q: 7. will this tripod be able to hold a standard 1080p webcam to use for twitch?

A: As long as the camera you are using weighs less than 10 lbs and has a standard 1/4"-20 female threaded tripod socket on the base of the camera, it will be compatible for use on the Magnus PV-7451M Tripod.

Q: 8. Is the handle adjustable?

A: The handle is telescoping just like the legs of the tripod. Not too much of an adjustable size range though...but good enough

Q: 9. Does the tripod have smooth movement when panning and tilting?

A: It is relatively smooth. This is not a fluid head and will not be as smooth as a fluid head. In it's class. it is considered very good.

[1/4"-20] I use this with a 200-500mm Zoom telephoto lens. I read other reviews that criticized the Pan-Tilt Head, but I have found it to be solid when properly used. For the price, you couldn't expect more! Excellent value. 5

[2.52 lb] this mono pod is light weight and easy to carry around easy to put on the camera what can I say it's just far out wild and crazy I love this mono pod so I think you audit just go to B&H and ordered this right now it's too cool 5

[27.5 x 4 x 4"] I've been searching for a good tripod for years on a very limited budget, and have certainly come across some bad ones that I wound up returning. And while I know you get what you pay for, I always desired finding one that was good quality and not going to break the bank. As years went by, I shifted towards seeking a monopod for my DSLR use, as I shoot video on a regular basis, manual focus. As I got online looking for a monopod for that steady shot and easy transportation, imagine my surprise to find a tripod/monopod combo for a very affordable price and the fulfillment of to desired products for video use! Better still, having received the tripod and testing it out, it is solid, both literally and figuratively. The metal used for the legs does not feel like the cheap-very breakable-basically plastic metal from cheaper tripods. And being able to pull out the monopod on the fly and take it with you is ideal. While I'm sue that there are likely better options the more money you spend, this certainly achieves its job and does it well. I suggest getting a cheap $5 carrying pack with it for easy transporting. 5
