I measured it to be sure and found the holding straps are stitched to the bag slightly off center by one inch. They are stitched to the bag too close together too so the bag see-saws toward one end and the light stands inside slide to one end and the bag becomes not level with the ground as you walk and is uncomfortable to hold. Also, this bag does not come with a shoulder strap. I will never buy a tripod/light stand bag without a shoulder strap. Going down to the beach is a real hassle without one.
