The tiny USB receiver stays in your laptop. Plus, you can easily add a compatible wireless mouse or keyboard-without the hassle of multiple USB receivers.

You can type easily even in the dark with laser-etched, brightly backlit keys that provide precise illumination. Only the characters are illuminated, so you can see just what you need to see without distraction.

The keyboard automatically adjusts the backlighting to suit the lighting conditions. Or you can adjust it the way you like it with the press of a button.

Sensors in the K800 keyboard detect your hands as they approach the keyboard to intelligently turn the backlight on and off.

The PerfectStroke key system distributes typing force evenly across key surfaces, making every keystroke comfortable, fluid, and whisper-quiet.

Durable concave keys position your fingers properly, and their softly rounded edges invite your fingertips to glide from key to key.

To recharge, simply plug in the universal micro USB cable for three to six hours for up to 10 days of battery life. You can even type while it's recharging.

Simply plug the wireless receiver into a USB port on your desktop PC or laptop for a fast, reliable connection right out of the box.

With sleek lines, a clear edge, and low profile keys, the keyboard adds style to your workspace, whether you've got a laptop or desktop.

An On/Off switch helps you go longer between charges, while power indicator lights eliminate surprises.

Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10.

[Yes] First of all, I'm not sure why Logitech ever discontinued this excellent keyboard. It was inexpensive for my budget, and had the PERFECT feel. I cannot stand the insane loudness of mechanical keyboards. This keyboard hits the sweet spot as it is not too loud or too quiet. The width of the keyboard is just perfect, as I sit in a recliner in front of a big TV, and have no issues with anything. Unlike someone below complaining about the numeric keypad on the right..... that is standard on almost every keyboard. No one uses the top row, are you kidding me? It's too easy to use your right hand to easily hit every number and math symbol. Top row numbers are useless unless you're playing a game. They take longer to press because they are spaced out about 10 inches!!! No thanks!

Now, I will miss this keyboard greatly, and sadly I spilled stuff on mine and two of the buttons now stick forever and I kind of broke them when trying to clean it, so I will be buying another keyboard. But the other fantastic feature of this keyboard that is hard to find anywhere is the USB rechargeable feature. This allows me to not have to worry about changing batteries all the time! I don't even like changing rechargeable batteries because it's just annoying. It's so much simpler to be able to charge the keyboard with a USB cable and get several days or weeks of life out of one charge, depending on usage. RIP, K800. You will be missed.

[, Set Color] I've used this keyboard about 12 years. It's now worn out, and I need another one just like it. Where is it???? I don't want to go to a logitech website, find this item, then be informed by others that it's been discontinued. I just want to find it in the marketplace somewhere.

[Integrated] It is very comfortable to type on. I've been thinking my typing skills had taken a nose dive lately but it was the keyboard I was using. I bought this keyboard because I'd recently purchased the K810 (a mini BT version of the K800) and found it extremely comfortable and easy to type on. This keyboard is quiet, sleek, has a low profile and I like the way it can stand on it's side, out of the way if needed. Love the illumination, the different degrees of illumination, how it turns back on when touched or just waving your hand over the keyboard and how it fades off within 2-3 seconds after you remove your hands. Can't speak to the battery life because I've only had it about a week. So far so good. I try to turn it off at night but usually forget. Honestly, I can't think of anything negative about the K800 Illuminating Keyboard.

[Integrated] This is the BEST keyboard I have used for my home workstation. It is so quiet, the keys are pleasant to type on, and the backlighting is perfect. I wanted to purchase a second one for commuting to the office on my flex days and was so sad to see this is no longer available and there is not a newer similar model to replace it.

[Integrated] I fought with my old keyboard till the letters wore off and then bought this one. What took me so long??? It's fabulous! My typing speed has increased and my hands are less tired at the end of the day. The keyboard has brightness settings that are sensor driven but the highest is an always-on setting. In my office lighting, it's so easy to see. I loved it so much, I ordered one for everyone admin person in the office.

[Integrated] They only last about 4 or 5 years, but I keep buying more. Not too stiff, not too light, and I like the built-in wrist support.

This same model a few years back had removable rechargeable batteries, but unfortunately the newer version of this model number doesn't allow for that.
