Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I want to attach this to my hasselblad 503 or my mamiya 7II. Is there a sync cord for this unit?

A: The Metz SCA 390 Dedicated Module for Hasselblad Manual Focus Cameras, B&H # ME5544, would be the module designed for use on the Hasselblad 503 for TTL usage. Unfortunately, this adapter has been discontinued and is no longer available. As the Mamiya 7II has a standard hot shoe, the Metz Dedicated Module - Standard ISO Foot - SCA 301, B&H # ME5519, would allow you to connect the flash to your camera for manual usage. If you have a cold shoe for use with your Hasselblad camera, you may also use the SCA 301 above with the Metz 36-50 Standard Sync Cord, B&H # ME5548, for manual flash usage with your Hasselblad 503 camera.

Q: 2. Is there a module to use with a Panasonic Dmc-fz1000

A: Digital CompatibleDigital Compatibility - Compatible with the most current digital metering systems from the top camera manufacturers, including iTTL from Nikon and e-TTL 1 & 2 from CanonAF Flash MeasurementAF Flash Measurement - Auto focus assist beam integrated in the flash unit makes automatic focus adjustment with AF-SLR cameras possible.Secondary ReflectorSecondary Reflector - To fill-in the shadows created when using indirect flashSCA SystemSCA System - Camera manufacturer specific interchangeable adapters that support additional special functions (including digital TTL) enable the flash to be used with multiple camera systems. you will need a dedicated module for the Panasonic Dmc-fz1000 to communicate and work in TTL mode with your camera. If B&H does not list it, I would recommend contacting Metz US on the web or call them directly.

Q: 3. this flash is fully compatible with canon eos 5d Mk II ???Thanks!

A: Yes, the Metz mecablitz 76 MZ-5 digital Flash Kit for Canon Cameras is fully compatible with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR camera.

Q: 4. How is this used? I have a Metz 5512 bracket attached to a Metz 60CT-1 and an RC0 hex plate in the 3/8 socket on the bracket, but cannot tell how this works.

A: The idea behind this screw is to replace the screw on your RC0 plate, and allow it to go through the plate and through the bracket to screw directly into your camera. So then you have a bracket with an RC0 plate attached to it.

Q: 5. Is the Godox XPRoO TTL Wireless Flash Trigger compatible with Godox TT350O?

A: Yes

Q: 6. hi just asking if what is the battery now used inside the P 76-56 battery pack? leo amaro fr PHILIPPINES

A: The Metz Mecablitz 76 MZ-5 flash uses this nickel metal hydride battery. Please take a look at the following link:http://bhpho.to/1gu46Hh

Q: 7. Will this work with the OM-D EM-1 Mark II?

A: Good morning, the truth that I do not know if it would work? I made it work with canon 6d

Q: 8. Trying to use with my OM-D M5-MarkIII and FL-LM3, but flash will not fire. Cord locks to camera hot shoe, but flash does not lock to cable hot shoe. Any suggestions on troubleshooting?

A: The issue is the older smaller flash does not work with any ttl cord from what I have researched. Many other flashes do. But that one really meant to be on camera only.

Q: 9. Will this cord work with Leica CF22 flash?

A: If your Leica CF22 flash works with your camera's hotshot, then this will work with that flash. It basically just extends the hot shoe.

Q: 10. Will this cord work with my Olympus OMD-EM1 v1 and Olympus FL-600R Flash?

A: I use this cable and Flash 600R with Olympus OM DE M10 Mark 2.

[Proprietary] I bought the 76 MZ-5 from B+H back in 2011 and the unit is still going strong. Make sure you can get the SCA module you need for this flash to work with Canon cameras. Metz told me that in 2015 production of the handle mount flash units and related accessories has come to an end. So get what you can while you can. I have never had an issue with the 76 MZ-5 and this flash can light up a massive area.

[Proprietary] This unit reminded me of an RL915 I owned back in the 1970s. Great output and so far no problems with the unit mechanically. I know some people have posted problems but so far I have not had any.
