While we have not tested it, it is our understanding the focus control of the RM1BP will work as well as the zoom. With the AX700, you can use the the RM1BP directly with full zoom and focus capabilities.

A: The candela rating of the SureFire EDC2-DFT Dual-Fuel Rechargeable Flashlight (Tan) is dependent on the battery you use. For the SF18650B battery the candela is 100,000 candelas whereas the 123A battery is 90,000 candelas.

A: I have used this zoom control on a Sony FS7 with a 28-135 and it works well at slow speeds. Like most zoom controls, you can feather the rocker switch to alter the 'set' speed.

A: It allows a left handed user to switch how it zooms. Normally you push down of the right side to zoom out and on the left side to zoom in.
