This ARRI ARRILITE 575 Plus/Fresnel Mini Kit packs a lot of technology coupled with industry benchmark performance into one of the most versatile kits that ARRI offers. The kit includes two ARRILITE 750 Plus open face lights with a full complement of accessories, including scrims, barndoors, and filter frames. Two 300W ARRI Fresnels are included, each with its own set of accessories as well. Lamps and stands are provided for each light as well as a wheeled shipping case to transport and store it all.

The ARRILITE 750 Plus from ARRI is an enhanced version of the tried-and-true ARRILITE open face line. ARRI started with the basic design of the ARRILITE 800 and optimized the reflector to increase output 21% using a 575W HPL lamp which employs a compact filament that concentrates and augments light while increasing efficiency. The result is almost double the output. A redesigned one-arm stirrup instead of a yoke facilitates greater movement while the dedicated accessory holder allows use of chimera softboxes without a speed ring.

The ARRI 300 Plus Fresnel is designed to gather as much light as possible and direct it through the 3.2" (81.2mm) low expansion, borosilicate Fresnel lens producing a soft, even field of light. The beam spread is 15-55°.

A: As the ARRI Arrilite 750 Plus comes with an accessory holder that allows you to use softboxes without speedrings, if you are referring to either the Chimera Quartz Plus Softbox - Medium - 36x48 (90x120cm), B&H # CHQPBM, or the Chimera Quartz Plus 1 Bank - Medium - 36x48 (91x122cm), B&H # CHQP1BM, then yes, both should be able to connect to the Arrilite 750 without the purchase of a separate speedring.

Q: 2. Would This work with a Strand Or Colortran Theater Lighting Fresnel? Or only with the Arri?

A: This lamp was purpose built for the Arri.

Q: 3. Can you operate this light extendedly while it is pointed downwards? I’d like to use it with a Chimera lantern…

A: Yes, you can use the ARRI ARRILITE 750 Plus extended on a boom aimed down with a Chimera lantern mounted to it as long as the lantern is rated for 750W or above.

A: The Mole-Richardson Molestat 2500 Watt AC Dimmer (120V AC), B&H # MOMSD2500, would be the correct dimmer recommended for use with the ARRI Arrilite 2000 Plus.

A: Yes - This instrument gets hot - but you should be able to lamp it with 575 W or 750 W HPL bulbs. No dimmer is built into the instrument,

A: The speed ring diameter for this light is 10 . One such ring that will fit is the Chimera Speed Ring for Quartz & Daylite Banks - Circular 10 (255mm), B&H # CHSRC10QD. Please see the image below.

A: The Visionsmith ReLamp 650 LED for ARRI 650 Plus Fresnel (Tungsten) has a limited 2-year manufacturer warranty.

A: If running a 2000 watt lamp in this Arri fixture, you would need a plug such as the Altman Male Edison Nema 5-20P Connector (20A) B&H # ALEC20M.

A: The bulb is not included with the Arri Arrilite 750 Plus light fixture. You would have to purchase the bulb separately. As listed under the Accessories tab, I would recommend the Ushio HPL+ 750W Lamp (750W/120V), B&H# USHPL750, for your stated needs.

[34 x 19 x 12.5"] This light is beautiful. I now have four of them and they allow me to light up the set! The construction on these are also much nicer than on earlier models. I have one of the earlier plastic-y ones and this is nothing that! 5

[34 x 19 x 12.5"] Great kit. Arri makes quality stuff. The only down side is that with four stands, the case is a pain to close. But it does close, and it does fit four lights in the space of most other three light kits. Note that this appears to be identical to another set that sells for less... but THIS CASE HAS WHEELS. IMHO, the wheels are worth the extra coin. It's not a light kit (well, it is, but you know what I mean!). 5
