I've been using a 27 NEC for the last 6-8 years, and while it still calibrates up nicely (98% aRGB), it was time to find a replacement. This hit all the right specs ... 100% aRGB, hardware calibration, and the right resolution for a 27 display. Setup was a breeze, and initial calibration was as well. The supplied ColorNavigator software is easy to understand and use with plenty of options. The result is stunning. Crisp colors, superb definition, and oh so accurate. What I see on the screen is what comes out in the print, color and black and white. Just a super monitor.

Acquiring this monitor means I now have two identical monitors, which means less fussing around regarding what elements are on which screen, and the irritation of slightly different resolutions and brightnesses. I can edit images on either screen and view print-ready images on either screen.

Only minor complaint is tracking down a monitor hood for the new monitor.

I purchased this monitor as a replacement for a 10 year old NEC graphic arts monitor. It was easy to set up. Even though it comes with factory calibration, I used the included calibration sensor and software to create an icc Adobe RGB profile. The recommended warm up time for the monitor is just a few minutes compared to an hour for my old monitor. In short - good features and quality which you would expect from Eizo at an affordable price point.

I recently purchased an Eizo CS2420 and was so impressed that I decided to use it in portrait mode and get a bigger version as a main monitor. These entry level Eizo ColorEdge monitors are the best I have ever used. The color, uniformity, and text quality are all first rate.
The quality and attention to detail in these monitors is exceptional. The stand is both solid and stable yet remarkably compact. The ability to tilt forward and back surprised me it and improves the ergonomics more than I would have thought. The monitor feels much more solid and better constructed than a major competitor's model. I am happy to have a slightly wider bezel in return for less fragile construction and a better chance of surviving shipping. The bezel itself is subtly beveled with a fine pearl finish, making it look like an aesthetically integrated frame for the screen rather than wasted space.
ColorNavigator is easily the least aggravating color management software I've ever used. The interface is completely unobtrusive but makes it easy to adjust or switch between profiles, and calibration only takes a couple minutes. Once set, profiles can be switched with a touch of the front panel. I'm used to hardware manufacture's software add-ons being buggy nuisances but the ColorProfiler works like a seamless extension of the monitor.

I was considering a 4K monitor but I'm very glad I chose this resolution. The pixel-pitch is smaller than most monitors and makes toolbars and menu text about at small as they could be while still being easily readable without scaling.
Note that I don't do serious video editing or play games that require high refresh rates. For work with static images and general use this monitor is everything I could wish.

This monitor is as advertised. It performs very well out of the box. I have it hooked up to a late 2013 MacBook Pro. If you're using a same vintage MBP, my suggestion is to use the Display Port to Mini-Display Port cable as opposed to the HDMI cable. I initially was using the HDMI cable and was regretting not spending the money and getting the 4K monitor since the resolution seemed off, but after I switched to the Display Port hookup the resolution dialed in quite nicely. For an Eizo, this monitor is a great price point for the quality you receive. I would purchase this again.

I bought this particular monitor mostly for use with photography. It has very good gamut coverage, is well made and sports some very useful features. The tech reviews on Eizo monitors are very favorable and the customer reviews are extremely good. The image quality is outstanding. An attractive feature of this monitor is that it comes with a calibration device which is easy to use to keep the monitor in calibration. I also have an NEC monitor that is seven years old and is starting to bleed dark patches along the edges of the screen and has a warm cast to part of the screen to the point where I am no longer able to calibrate it, so I switched monitor brands. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This is my second Eizo monitor. It is a gem, with crystal clarity and fantastic colors which bring out the best in my Fuji raw images and Capture One workflow. It does not have the built-in calibration like my first Eizo, but the EX4 calibrator and the ColorNavigator 7 software do a great job so that my prints precisely match what is on my screen. Worth the money, for sure.
