The JVC GC-XA2 ADIXXION Action Camera SEO Titleis a lightweight and rugged action camera that is compatible with a variety of optional mounts for use in a variety of conditions, environments, and activities. Highlighted by JVC's "Quad Proof" design, the GC-XA2 is waterproof down to a depth of 16.4', shockproof from falls up to 6.5', freezeproof to temperatures as low as 14°F, and completely sealed off from dust penetration thanks to an IP6X dustproof rating. It also features a fixed focus, 160° wide angle lens with a bright f/2.4 aperture. Plus, you can use the integrated 1.5" LCD monitor for shot preview and instant playback.

To ensure high-resolution image capture, JVC outfitted the GC-XA2 with a back-illuminated 8MP CMOS image sensor that excels in low light conditions. It supports up to Full HD 1920 x 1080p video at 60 fps and records directly to an SDHC or SDXC memory card. The camera supports 8MP still images or 16MP Ultra Resolution photo capture as well. There's also a slow motion recording feature that records 1280 x 720p video at 120 fps for high-speed action and 4x slow motion playback. Other shooting features include up to a 15 fps burst mode, simultaneous recording of video and photos in five second intervals, and time-lapse video and photography.

Besides capturing video to share with friends and family via HDMI on your HDTV screen, the GC-XA2 also supports live streaming. You can use the camera's built-in Wi-Fi to stream live broadcasts to USTREAM. You can use the Wi-Fi to instantly upload videos to YouTube as soon you record them. The GC-XA2 also works with the free, downloadable ADDIXION Sync App for iOS and Android mobile devices. A: Sounds like the person who answered has the clone and not the original SJ4000. When I updated It improved the camera. Go YouTube and look for real vs fake SJ4000. also, for how to update.

[AAC] I bought a Minoura handle bar mount that has the standard Tripod screw for this or any other camera (not Go Pro) and it works great doing rides, very solid mount. Using the flip function I mount it upside down on my handle bars so it is out of the way and it does awesome video and sound as is. I tried this with a Go Pro earlier and the only sound the Go Pro recorded was a dull rattling but the Adixxion not being in a plastic case was able to record decent sound even with the wind going by it. I bought two additional batteries and was able to get an hour and 45 out of one before having to switch out, which is easy to do without having to unmount the cam. I did some side by side videos with a go Pro that I rented and I see no difference in quality for my uses and the Adixxion was certainly way cheaper and looks less obtrusive while mounted on my bike, most people don't even notice it in fact. Go Pro of course has the name recognition and lots of special mounts but since the Adixxion uses a standard tripod mount it can use whatever is available for normal cameras. I mounted it to a windshield of a car with one of the supplied sticky bases and took some awesome travel videos up the coast of California, the camera didn't budge after hours of traveling. Also the built in shake reduction is an asset on my bike and on some pretty rough roads the video was very steady. I would highly recommend this camera, the only thing I would change about it would be having built in GPS. Also for those not technically inclined, I found the menu easy to learn without having to study much and was able to set it up quickly and the many functions are easy to make out on the screen. Worked well for some shallow underwater video and the color correction worked great for this, and no need for added underwater housing. Get the add on clear lens protectors if your using this outside in rough conditions just to protect the original lens, they just snap on and off. 5

[Auto Manual] I've had the JVC GC-XA2 for about 2 weeks and have performed several shoots with it. My first impressions are very favorable overall: the camera is solidly built and has a rubber exterior with gorilla glass covering the monitor screen. Navigating through the menu to set up the camera is easy but the buttons are a little hard to push- not a bad thing. image quality was fantastic in both the 1080 60fps mode and the time lapse mode. I did my research before buying this camera and am very glad I went with the Adixxion. I like not having to worry about putting the camera into a protective case just to mount it to a tripod like the GoPros. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a good POV or second camera on a shoot. 5

[4.8 oz (135 g)] Am using this on a helmet while on the ATV. The colour is good, the picture is clear, and when I looked up towards the sun I didn't see and lens flare. Even with the ATVs running you could still hear nice clear speech from the mic. After thirty miles very dusty trail the camera body itself was covered in dust but the lens stayed clear and clean. To top it all off the battery lasted well past the time for recharge. 5

[7.7 x 5.2 x 4"] Love this camera. Great price. Everything works great, no problems. I will not go over all the capabilities and features - I could write a novel. I bought it in January 2015 so I have had plenty of time to rate this camera. BH has a number of accessories to fit it. The Go Pro has hundreds of accessories available and you can buy an adapter to use them on the JVC GC-XA2 camera. I Rated this camera 5 stars and highly recommend it. 5

I mount this camera on the handle bars of my Honda Foreman and with all the vibrations and shaking, it shoots amazing videos. I use a Sandisk 32GB Extreme SDHC UHS-1/class 10 card that is capable of 80 MB/s. There is no graininess as another reviewer has posted. He may have a mediocre card in his camera that is not capable of the data transfer that comera needs. I am also impressed with the battery life. I seems to be way better than all of my buddies' Go Pro cameras. 5
